I've not had a crush on Sharapova for absolutly ages now by the way.

Back to Dr Who, todays episode should be really good.

I've not had a crush on Sharapova for absolutly ages now by the way.

How come? Is it because she's now "off the market"?:P

No, I've just not got a crush on her anymore, I like Maya Von Doll,Rihanna and of course Karen Gillian at the moment.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone :bomb:

That ending. I . . . just . . . WHAT?! :dizzy:

Rory. The poor fellow.

I'm so confused i she or isn't she and who the heck is that little girl :bomb:

Clearly Amy and the Doctor's daughter. Her mind had been wiped so she couldn't remember anything.:stunned:

I really don't think she is you know

because only full timelords can regenerate not half human half timelords like with the doctors daughter.

here's my crazy theory, the silence stole the doctor's DNA impregnated amy with it, and she's growing a mini timelord for the silence to use for evil.

or River may be a timelord, and the little girl just when she was younger.

Aha! But maybe there are things that haven't been revealed yet!

Just why are the Daleks SO scary? Academic solves TV sci-fi puzzle

They were voted the scariest villains in the history of Doctor Who, and now an academic claims he knows why Daleks are so frightening.

But it is nothing to do with their robotic cries of 'exterminate' or their relentless attempts to conquer the world.

Dr Robin Bunce said we're terrified of them because we are worried we will one day become like them.

The Cambridge University academic said: 'According to their back story, once they were capable of genuine emotion and real moral good.

'Now they are sexless, heartless brains, shut up in machines incapable of intimacy, who have forgotten what it means to laugh and no longer think of themselves as individuals.

'We recognise the Daleks as evil because they have lost all that we hold most dear.'

Dr Bunce based his research on the original storyline which first introduced the creatures to the show in 1963.

Through the ages: Daleks - pictured here in 1974 (left) and 2007 - were named the scariest villains in Doctor Who's history

It told viewers the Daleks had retreated into their metal shells after a devastating war and slowly lost their emotions, becoming more like machines than living and breathing creatures.

Dr Bunce said: 'The reason the Daleks are evil is because we recognise that they were once better. They are the nightmare future we dread.'

The Daleks have made regular appearances in the long-running science fiction series, with the latest being just last year when they turned up in an episode set in Blitz-torn London.

They were voted the scariest villains in the history of Doctor Who in a poll of 21,000 fans in 2007.

[THEORIES...

STOLEN FROM SOMEONE .. ON another forum...

but this person could be right !

#1 When the Doctor gets flashbacks of the word "Silence" - could someone tell me when Rory says it? Is that in the first episode of last series?

#2 Since that was the Doctor's first time at kissing River, and River's last time - could that mean that they've pass half-way now?

#3 Some have said that the 2011 killing of the Doctor will still happen because it's the Silence's revenge of what he did back in 1969. But, the fact the Doctor made everyone aware of the Silence and to kill them back in 1969 - then shouldn't the Silent Amy saw at the picnic be dead? If not, then shouldn't Amy have remembered "Oh look a Silent! Be right back - I'll just go kill it".

This is the probably the only bit that I'm 100% not sure about - because I'm not sure (unless that the whole point) if the stuff that happened in this episode changed the future or not.

#4 End of the Silence? I doubt that! But what I don't understand is - why would Prisoner Zero say "Silence will fall"? It's technically saying that "a species of Aliens will fall". Not really a bad thing isn't it? PZ made it sound like a bad thing.
