best music dvd's?

Featured Replies

what're the best or your favorite music DVD's out there? i'm hooked on these things, the second i see a dvd of a band/musician i like, i buy it in a snap. but i'm not the most tenacious shopper, so i really don't spend too much time looking for em. so what're the best ones? my favorites which i own so far are ofcourse coldplay's, incubus's at red rocks, rage against the machine's last concert, and smashing pumpkins. wishing radiohead would make one since i've never had the chance to see em live, but when pigs fly right?

The Coldplay dvd is pretty darn good, as is the Our Lady Peace dvd. The Foo Fighters one kind of sucks though in my opinion.

My favourite has to be:

Jeff Buckley - Live in Chicago

Radiohead have a live VHS, but not DVD. It was recorded at the London Astoria in 1995, around the time The Bends was released.

^ jeff Buckley in Chicago... defo!! I recently got this one... its mega!

Coldplay Live 2003

U2 Live from Slane Castle 2001

Yeah jeff in chicago is AMAZING! But check out muse-hullabaloo because it's a great concert and some crazy footage :dizzy2:

Oh and oasis be here now is good :)

I have a weezer dvd that I haven't watched yet.

J. Buckley definitely.

Phantom Planet's is currently keeping me very happy.

My top three are - Coldplay live 2003

- U2 Live at Slane Castle

- Depche Mode, One Night In Paris

coldplay live 2003 and foo fighters everywhere but home, but then again they are the only two music dvd's I own

jason Mraz, eagles ballroom (TOnight, Not again) - well yummy jason big plus, but great songs, and wonderful extras too

muse-hullabaloo and travis - more than us

Tenacious D's Complete Masterworks is a gem of a DVD - probably my most watched one.

Muse- Hullabaloo Coldplay-Live 2003 Snow Patrol and Scissor sisters lol

I agree.

I wish Radiohead will release a live DVD some day soon.

I'm sick of watching the Astoria VHS over and over again.

Can you believe that? They've been around for 12, 13 years and they NEVER released an all live DVD. :embarrased:

U2 - Slaine Castle, Dublin 2001

The Led Zeppelin one is awesome too

although my actual favourite is a bootleg:

Muse - Glastonbury 2004

a quick question whilst I'm here, of the three (?) Queen DVDs, which would you reccommend buying first?

U2 Live at Slane Castle

Coldplay - Live 2003

My top two
