If I put my opinion here, I might be nailed to a cross, but here goes:

Nobody is celibate. Because sexuality and sexual urges are inherently human, natural, and unavoidable. Because it is quite normal to lust for another on occasion, and despite claims, I'm sure even the Priests and Nuns have these urges.. Now that might only mean fantasizing for them, but what I recall being told is that that's breaking with celibacy as well, so...

But there are times when one can be in various states of mind and body where sexuality is not an element - any discipline has this trait to it, and certainly there are moments when one might be considered celibate in state-of-mind; it's situational. Perhaps 98% of the time we are all celibate! But, we are natural, and just like the fishes and the birds, the urge to mate is essential for our very survival as a species. Perhaps also the need to be focused and task-oriented has an equally important role in our survival; both are essential. Anyhow, I believe in the natural truth. Virginity is all relative! After all, didn't Madonna sing that song, "Like a Virgin"??:laugh3:
