Bono looking over after a couple girls to my left screamed "BONO IS A STUDMUFFIN!" so funny

Keane? Don't know if anyone's interested, but i'll post anyways. They were pretty good, surprisingly! I'm used to shitty opening acts, but they impressed me. Considering I've never heard ANY of their music prior to this.

Yeah, that's the first time Bono came and stood in front of me. Sadly, I was going so crazy I didn't even bother to fix the camera to a flash setting

Electric Co. is such an absolutely AMAZING, rocking song. It's become one of my favorites after this!

Of course! The clearest of my shots of the stage and they're all turned away from the camera. :P

During SYCMIOYO Bono essentially stood right to the left of me, staring in my general direction for the entire begining of the song. It was so amazing I couldn't bring myself to take a picture, I felt like it'd be disrespectful to flash him in the eyes during that song  I did snap these as he started walking by though. The lighting was way too tempting to capture...

I almost got one of the drumsticks, Bono handed them to security right in front of me, and I reached out for one. Alas, security guy kept one ( ) and handed the other to some girl a few people down.

Before this, Bono looked down and smiled at me, then knelt down right in front of me and started to sing Sunday Bloody Sunday. Eye contact... :wideeyed:  LOL!! I had screamed his name SO loud as he was standing there that I guess I surprised him. Shouldn't he be used to that by now, though??

Adam posed for our little section of the catwalk, and posed for this picture. He winked and gave me a smile after I took it and walked by!! :o

And that's that. LMFAO! I warned you there were a lot. I hope SOMEONE enjoyed these :stunned: If not, I feel bad.

wow that IS a lot! theyre GREAT! thanks!

my camera ran outta batteries when i was at the concert so i had to take pictures sparingly hehe but yeah iguess that answers ur question about if i used a digital camera..

so the REALLY GHETTO thing that i do when taking pictures is that i try to only take pictures when thers good lighting ON the stage.. i dont like flashing them when its too dark.. and when i do take the picture its usually just set to the regular flash setting or on auto.. then i cover half the flash.. so that only a certain amount of light flashes... see i told u it was ghetto.. but it works.. lol at least with my camera.. and the pictures have come out pretty well all the times ive done it.. and it doenst hurt if ure REALLY CLOSE lol

as u can tell.. i am no expert with taking cameras and pictures.. but u can give it a try next time? haha

good luck trying to get into the ellipse!!!

Thanks! I went through two whole memory cards, But I took tons of video as well.

Hmmmm, that's actually a good idea. The problem with flash is that when I'm trying to take an "artistic" picture (such as, say, the Sometimes pictures I took where I liked the lighting), it'll be too dark WITHOUT a flash. But then when I put Auto on, or Fill Flash on my cam, it'll devoid the whole thing of color. It comes out clear, but it looks pretty blah. I'll have to experiment with different ways before mine. Thanks for that tip!

oh man, a couple 3 people in front of me got in, I was so sad... I was lucky to get right on the rail, though, so that was good enough for me.

PUTA QUE PARIU!!

HOLLY SHIT

U2 IN A FUCKING STADIUM TOUR IN BRAZIL IN FEBRUARY 2006

OH SHIT

MOTHER FUCKER

COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just read it on U2.com!!!!!

Good for you guys, it's not fair that the States and Europe hogs the band!!!

HOPE YOUR SHOWS ROCK!!!! :D

an_cat awesome pictures :D V. Good ones of Edge and Ads. Where was your show?

Danielle, my goodness, those pics are gorgeous!!! :D :stunned: :stunned:

but, you say you had never heard of KEANE??? dear god, danielle, have you been living under a rock?? they effing rock!!! :D yay for europeans, really! :D

Well you are certainly missing out a lot by not having heard of them!!!!!!

Rick8, have you heard the recent announcement involving New Zealand as an extension of the tour?

Here's a few of my own shots from Manchester back in June, just to show how different the show production was.

an_cat awesome pictures :D V. Good ones of Edge and Ads. Where was your show?

Thanks! Yeah, I was just a TAD bit biased during the show since I had met them before...

It was the Oct. 4th show at the Boston Garden. It ROCKED. Man, this leg is definately blowing the first leg out of the water. Lots better than the May 28th show I went to (or maybe it's just because I wasn't as close at that show   ).

I had heard of Keane, but never really bothered to listen to them. But I've DEFINATELY heard of them now! They were really really good!! Definately got everyone in the house listening, it surprised me. I guess I was expecting another flop like Kings of Leon back in May, they didn't impress me.

I've been meaning to get some of their music off itunes, but I can't seem to remember the songs that they played. There was one in particular that I liked... Hmmmm...

I'm just glad I got a good report card for this quarter. I need to convince my mom of letting me get my U2 GA tickets off ebay for the Dec 5th show in Boston  Honestly, I'm completely addicted. :o But I've been saving up money for almost a year now, I think I'm entitled to a little spending. :smug:

I was so annoyed at not being able to borrow a digital camera, luckily the asda across the road was selling disposables for £2. Anyhow, this is how close queuing from 8:30am will get you

Whoa, NICE pics RA-D. Especially cool one of Edge!

I really wish I got to see one of their stadium shows, the set up and everything was AMAZING looking!

Oi jealous. I was lucky my ONE show since it was so far away. I really want Tickets to charlotte, but that is six hours away. But we have friends down there. I dunno, I might be able to convince my dad...some GAs maybe :wink3: I just got my bootleg today of my 10/19 concert and I'm dying because of the drum solo at the end of "40" and Bono's comment in the first time "i have a brother, a brother in the edge, he spends his time chasing after me, i keep him away from the ledge" so cute  I haven't even listened to it all yet but I love it!

Oh yeah Danielle (as I believe your name is..mine is Lauren) Atleast you didn't have Damien Marley as your opening act. I wanted to cut my ears off :dozey:

I'm incredibly blessed that I only live 40 minutes outside Boston and I've got some pretty lax parental units. My mom's recently fallen in love with Bono, so I think she WANTS me to get the tickets for Dec.

I've got a GREAT bootleg off ebay of my concert. I swear I can distinctly hear myself "WHOO BONO" at one point (since I specifically remember that moment, when Bono looked down at me! It's pretty damn cool!) Awww, that's so adorable (Bono's singing about Edge).  Have you ever seen the VH1 special where the guys are walking along a sort of high cliff and Edge is right near the... er... edge... and Bono's like "No, don't do it Edge!" It always amuses me.

I said Edge a lot in that paragraph, didn't I?

Yep, my name's Danielle, feel free to call me that! If you don't mind me calling you Lauren, of course.

And who is Damien Marley? Never heard of him. I really wish I could see them in Toronto, I think that the Arcade Fire's opening for the Canadian gigs (or last I checked, it's been a bit). I've got Good Charlotte next time. I don't know any of their music.... But I don't know if I'd like it, I've heard it's a bit love it/hate it...

lmfao I talk too much when it comes to U2.

As do I, as do I. I'm lucky, I got my bootleg free ;D.

Yes I have the VH1 special on tape <3 Edge and Bono are so cute

Damien Marley is related to Bob Marley. It's reggae. Ew. :(

My parents are lax. My mom knows a lot since I always talk about them and force her to watch anything on the TV with them included. She adores Bono and we always joke on his shoes.

At my concert I had to call her 4 or 5 times so she could hear the songs...she wanted to go with me but couldn't get off work. She loves I Will Follow live :D I'll make an addict out of her yet. My dad, he isn't thrilled, but he got into singing at the concert :smug:

i love arcade fire.. i wish they opened for my show.. but Keane is great too..

The Arcade Fire is AMAZING. One of my favorite bands. Thanks again go to U2 for introducing me to 'Wake Up' at my concert way back in May. I love how they play that and then Edge comes in with the distortion for COBL. Awesome.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kanye West either, I think he's opening for the last few concerts in December? That'd be interesting.
