Taquilla's too much for me...although I've had 4 shots in one night...nearly killed me,lol.

How many do you drink a week?

I lost count after the first one.:P Actually, only on rare occasion - but it's alright to enjoy once in a while! ;)

I'm not normally a drinker, but, I'm at my best friend's house in Michigan and she took me out to the local dive bar to experience that which is her small Michigan town. It was all fine and good until I had this fateful shot of tequila.

Now I am sober, alone, and sad that people can't hold their alcohol and act silly.

I know what you mean, Carolyn. I have a little dive a few blocks away that I hang out at just because it's close to my house, and most of the people are great, but there are a few that get out of hand and spoil it for everyone. It's ok to have a few, but if you don't know when to quit...don't start.

The place we went to was a whole bar jam-packed with those that were over their limit. The music was bloody awful, the townfolk were downright mean, and I saw NUMEROUS people leave to operate their cars after having been overserved.

Why do people always have to go over the line? Why can't enough be just that...enough?

I know I am ranting a bit. I'm mostly disappointed that my best friend fell victim to the same behavior tonight. Out of control and silly. :\

Yea, I had whopituli once made with Tequila, and we were hung over after just one drink! (back during the school daze in the past this was..;)) What's with that stuff??

Were you in the Michigan mitten, or the hand?:) (& Tracie - you must be part Mexican then??)

Def. not part Mexican, lol. They can handle it...I CAN'T. The night I had the 4 shots, it was on top of a LOT of beer (about 15 years ago, mind you), and I ended up in a blackout with a mean hangover the next day. I learned a lot about knowing your limits that night, lol.

Don't get me wrong...I love booze, but only in small doses. You can really lighten the mood with a few drinks, or you can just get stoooopid and ruin everyone else's good time.

And if you can't have a good time without it, you should probably look up those meetings they have for addicts.

Well, yes, basically - same here Tracie. But I've often wondered about tequila - it had never agreed with me either, so I wasn't sure if this was just a side-effect to my own system or not. Now I know!;)

Si!:sombrero: I'll stick to the Mexican foods then;)

A pear.
