Yep. I discovered them thanks to Chris mentioning them in X&Y era interviews as an influence (or notably in Toronto 2006 "God gave you style and led you higher/God gave you the music of the Arcade

Yeah I got into Coldplay first and then slowly started getting into Arcade Fire. Once I started to realize their similarities and that Coldplay toured with them during the LVL era, it made me become a

Yeah, I followed a path similar to yours. I am a big fan of VLV and MX (the "midplay" era, ahah) and when I discovered that Coldplay mentioned several times AF as an influence during that period, I st

So far they've only released 2 albums, both of which are pretty good and different from each other (:

If you want something a bit more of a rocker, you could try the album 'Funeral' (Their first).

A few of the key tracks are: Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out), Rebellion (Lies) (which Chris Martin once sang at the end of Politik during a concert) and Wake Up.

If you want something a bit more chilling, with bits of Pipe Organs and politics, you can check out 'Neon Bible' which is quite awesome too.

A few of the key tracks are: Black Mirror, No Cars Go, My Body Is A Cage and Intervention

Actually, all of their songs are pretty good, it's hard to pick a favourite (: But DEFINITELY check them out. You won't regret it!

Rockier?

Just get Funeral because it's better, but No Cars Go from Neon Bible is amazing.

I like both alot, but like Funeral slightly more.

Still haven't checked it out. I will A.S.A.P.

Damn, Arcade Fire!

Favorite: Neighborhoods #1 (Tunnels)

So so amazingly beautiful. Funeral and Neon Bible are two pillars of perfect.

Arcade Fire was my band of the day today....had Intervention in my head all day. My fav tune is probably Une Annee Sans Lumiere

I really like Black Wave/ Bad Vibrations.

But Intervention is so so so good...

Intervention was the song that got me into the Arcade Fire
