Ben Harper is amazing. His songs and lyrics are real and meaningful. If you haven't checked him out, do it. You won't regret it. Its way mello, most of it. He sings the "steal my kisses', thats a fun song. Well check him out :-D

I LOVE BEN HARPER!!! I think he is soo awesome..his songs are so mellow and great..hahaha..."By My Side" is my all time favourite song from him and "Show Me A Little Shame" (Is that what it's called?) is another fave... :D

Hehe I love 'waiting on an angel', 'forever', 'beloved one' and others. Good stuff.

I love these guys...the only reason I put them together is b/c I am going to a concert on sunday and they're playing together. I'm really excited. This should be good. Both really mello guys, beautiful music. Check them out.

i really think his new album Both Sides Of The Gun is his best work to date, and if you dont know alot about his style, its a perfect intro to his world.

lol i never heard of him til he was on the OC and i went to his myspace and listened to other songs and they are really amazing. walk away is my favorite right now.

One of his most recent cds is: Diamonds On The Inside(2003). And it did not impress me much. But 'She's only happy in the Sun' was my favorite track on that album and it's top in my list of Ben's music

 

'Fight for your mind' (a 1995 album) is gotta be my favorite. MOstly because he speaks of defending people's rights and freedoms. I first heard the song "burn one down" which i am sure most have heard :rolleyes: I was proud of his defendence of pot smoking....it was cute :nice:

But seriously, every track on there is golden. His voice is one of a kind!

haa, you watch the OC...I should have guessed! No offense and I have never seen that show, but Ben is definetly a bonus to watching that sh.....

 

Walk away is great, but pick up the new one, "Both sides of the gun" to hear more great stuff. His last one, "Diamonds on the inside" is not my fav, but it has some gems like Crystal mentioned above. My favs off that album are "She's only happy in the sun" "Amen omen" and "Touch from your lust".

 

Besides the new one, the best album is "Fight for your mind," then "Burn to shine" IMO, but all 6 of his albums have amazing songs.

Oh well...I found out about him today.....by coincidence

and you can listen to his music on his website...and i really really like it....

 

now I want to have his current album...Both sides of the gun...
