for anyone who lives in montreal, quebec, check the D section of this morning's gazette. you'll find a coupon that will let you buy X&Y for 9.99 at any HMV, tomorrow (tuesday) only. i've already got my coupon stuck to the fridge and will be out tomorrow morning to pick up the album.

yeah, it's a cross canada promotion. i work at hmv and we're promoting the shit out of x&y. you can get a free poster with purchase, plus parachutes and rush of blood are on a 3/$30 campaign. but man, 9.99! that's a lower price than i can get with my discount.

and i think the 11x17 poster comes free with the $9.99 cd, too!

there are coupons to get the white stripes and black eyed peas albums for 9.99 too, in the same place the x&y one(s) is(are).

I went into HMV to ask the cashier, and she said they'd accept the 9.99 deal, as long as you have a coupon.

The coupon for the toronto area is in the sun today. I clipped one out, also says you get a poster.

in my area, we have 3 places selling the album for $9.99. woot!

I just got my copy. Woot, came with 2 posters for 9.99.

 

 

I hope they didn't give anything else away.....
