so i was wondering how many people actually use the proper keyboarding technique all the time when they type?

i learned...but went back to my old ways of typing :P

What is the 'proper keyboarding technique'?

When you use your home row keys...asdfjkl;....and you dont peck at the keys!! I was in BST last year so I learned how to type properly!! Yeah!!! :D

Of course I type properly.

 

 

 

But i NEVER spell properly.

QWERTY... I can type with both hands without looking at the keys once! :D

I guess most of us can... Especially all u guys out there who have literally thousands of posts ;)

I tend to only type with my right hand, and i dont look at the keyboard much at all...

I do, as I learned at "journalist" college.

Nope, I don't use my pinkies and my hands tend to swap sides if that makes sense to anyone, but I find it quicker this way :idea2:

I dont really know Im typing right now to see I dont use my left hand pinky much so I guess I dont hmmm I really still dont know I guess Im pretty ok for the most part I use most of my fingers but I dont use my thumbs enough I dont think. I use my right hand index finger to hit the space button and Im wondering if I should be using my left hand thumb to do so.

i don't know if i type properly but i can type without looking at the keyboard and with both hands .. i think all typists (if they type with both hands) use their left hand more :)

No, I just use like 2 fingers for it.
