E s'aprono i fiori notturni

nell'ora che penso a' miei cari.

Sono apparse in mezzo ai viburni

le farfalle crepuscolari.

Da un pezzo si tacquero i gridi:

La sola una casa bisbiglia.

Sotto l'ali dormoni i nidi

come gli occhi sotto le ciglia.

Dai calici aperti si esala

L'odore di fagole rosse.

Splende un lume la nella sala.

Nasce l'erba sopra le fosse.

Un'ape tardiva sussurra

Trovando gia prese le celle.

La Chioccetta per l'aia azzurra

va col suo pigolio di stelle.

:D

Well, I'm Italian and I'm willing to help...

If you have any questions to ask... :)

Cheers mariater55 :D

could you help me with some of the words in brackets in my last post?

how do you say poet for male and female and won?

Lugare= place i.e second place

recite=?

is it ' tu ha ascoltare' or ' tu ha ascoltate'?

Ciao! :bow:

I'm happy to answer your questions!

Poet in Italian is "poeta"; a woman poet is "poetessa".

(Tu ha ascoltare) : if you intended to say "you have to listen" the translation is "devi ascoltare"; if you meant "you've listened", then the translation is "hai ascoltato".

I've won = ho vinto

Second place = secondo posto (in a chart, for instance)

(secondi attempto) I guess you meant "second try"? then you say "secondo tentativo" or "seconda prova"

to recite = recitare; "I recited a poem" = ho recitato una poesia.

If you need other advice let me know :)

molto grazie, tu sono molto simpatica :)

Grazie a te! Anche tu sei molto simpatica! Spero che la mia risposta ti abbia aiutata...
