excellent photos! How have you done these effects? With Photoshop or by using only a camera?

Lncoln6Echo - I like your car designs! They're all great!

The colours are from an Infrared filter. I then touched it up a bit in Photoshop :)

^OMG, sure!!!

If you want your dreams come true, believe in them stronger than never!!!

And one day, you'll cross their roads...then, you 've got the choice: Take it or leave it...

I choose to take it...

WARNING!!!!

this one is called Clearly seen

I see the night coming

The shadows are dancing

They are playing with the lightnings

They are all enjoying.

When the light is here

They all disappear

The light brings them the fear

The fear to be clearly seen.

Clouds go here and there

In the middle of nowhere

They strech, lying on the air

And they release their pearls.

When the light is here

They all disappear

The light brings them the fear

The fear to be clearly seen.

Lies are everywhere, peacefully

And truth is hidden, shamefully

Will the light make us see

On which way we gonna live?

EDIT...oops wrong thread:D

^Very nice!!

So, I took a few of my pictures from the Arctic Monkeys gig and touched them up in my photo editor program. It's a new technique that I'm trying out a bit, just giving the pictures a different look than just a normal photograph. Little "artsier". ;)

Tell me if it works or sucks ass. :laugh4:

first of all,

WOW

close up shots!

second of all,

both your idea of an artsier form of plain photography, as well as the execution of this idea are excellent.

I enjoyed them very much!

Thank you, Danielle

:stunned: Thank you so so so much! You don't know what that means to me. Often times I get really self depricating when it comes to my photography. But I'm incredibly proud of the pictures I shot at the Arctic Monkeys show. For me, I often judge a gig by the quality of the pictures I take by the time it's over. Believe it or not.... :laugh4: So the Monkeys gig was very very good! haha.

Thank you again! I'll have to keep experimenting with this technique in the future! I'm going to another small venue show this week (Keane) and should be able to get a few good shots there as well.

Please do.

Most art work you have generously placed here has pacified me.

This is the way I judge excellent art.

I will look forward to seeing these Keane photos. Maybe they will be emotive enough for me to start listening to this stubbornly exposed band.

enjoy your concert, dear.

Heh, well I hope they do!

I like the idea of artsy photography when it comes to bands. I mean, straight up images (headshots, etc) are nice for magazines. But I like it when photographers get inventive. Either it be putting the subject in a different setting, or editing the picture later with strange colors, etc. I don't like the idea of photography being subjective just to a person's tastes. I aim for people to like a picture even if they hate or dislike the band being photographed. That's why I like to mess around with the pictures more.

Thanks! I'm sure I will... heh! :D

Great mind!

I think plain shots are okay..I like the raw footage at times.

BUt to please the eyes, methods like yours are just dandy!

Oh I don't know if I ever posted this before, but about a year ago I drew this :) only dug it out there about a week ago...It's only a picture of the picture but you can get the idea of what it is I was trying to draw....well if you've seen this coldplay picture :idea2:

Whoa, that's great!!! Good job! :D
