so today i was randomly inspired to vector a WW2 fighter plane. More specifically, the Spitfire...

 

so, i got a stock photo and i tried it, and i found it impossible for me to vector it, so i gave up and just had the computer trace it. I did, though, vector the crappy planes in the back! haha. i did all the vectoring and messed around with it with grunge brushes in photoshop 'n such.

 

well, anyway, here's my product of boredom. (click it for the full size)

Alyssa - wow! you're really talented! Sleeping Sun is a great photo (I love the colours!!!) and the last one, Spitfire, is nice, too! I love everything on it! In one way it looks similar to those pics that were made in 80s, well, not in this century. :)

 

KM - oh, lovely pic! I love how the light plays with itself between the clouds. Oh, do I see a rainbow?! ^_^

I have next to no idea what all that 'Shoptalk was, but it's way cool. :laugh4: I love that... ummm, wrinkle/scratchy effect you do on your stuff. It makes it look raw.

I have a friend who did a pencil drawing of me a few years ago that I wanted to use in my album art, but he left town and took the portrait with him. I think it would be so cool to have ppl from the boards involved in my next cover...and I'd pay you if you want...I know it sounds like bull s**t, but I really am serious. Let me know!!

Brandon - I love each drawing you've made. The way you shade people's faces is just perfect, and that Angelina's pic is in my opinion the best becasue of using hard strokes with pencil. :)
