I bet you've all got better seats though... but I'm just glad to be going... Strange that we're going to the same one though.

we're standing :nice: who knows me might bump into you :uhoh:

Ha, I doubt it... I'm in the silver section... U might want to stock up on water though coz i imagine u'll get really exhausted after a while.

I'm effing excited. I'm going to all their Melbourne shows.

First night, I'm on floor. Second, in the lower section. And for their third show, I'm in the upper section.

Only a couple weeks more yes! *dances around the room* Three years in waiting!

hey, wats the difference between 'section 1' and 'section 2' in the floor section??

show us the floorplan so we can see...

wow im soo jealous! your gonna get an all round view of the band!

Hmmm

I suppose it depends on the venue. My General Admission ticket just reads as..well- General Admisssion. I assume that if you get there earlier, the better view you have of the band. And I better get a good view, otherwise I'll have trouble seeing over people's heads...

I have a question for Aussie Coldplay fans. I have tickets for both the July 2nd and July 3rd concerts in Melbourne. However, its becoming likely that I will only be able to go to one and not the other. The July 2nd ticket is an $84.95 one, while the July 3rd ticket is a $119.90, so I'll probably go to the latter as the seat is better. The July 2nd seat is pretty good too, and I have some questions.

1. Is it legal to sell this ticket on eBay or privately?

2. Since the concert has sold out, is the worth of the ticket inflated? Someone told me I could get double, although I doubted him.

3. Would anyone here be interested in acquiring it?

Someone here might be interested. If you cannot find anyone, you can sell it on ebay. Undoubtably, there would be alot of people who would be bidding on it. There are cases where one Coldplay ticket alone has sold for $200.

stuart; i don't think it's legal to sell it on ebay... but alot of people do anyway.

if you sell it privately, no one will know who was there when you originally were there for the transaction, so it doesn't matter if you sell it privately.

since the concert is sold out, generally people do sell it for an inflated price, and yes, people are willing to pay added amounts if they did not get tickets the first time around.

as for acquiring it, i'm in sydney and already doing 2 shows, so no luck here.

good luck selling it though. :)

Well, thanks for the responses. I don't know what to do really. If I eBay it, I'm breaking the law, and I don't know anyone offline who would want to buy it. Is anyone here interested? If not, I may risk eBay.

Yes. Best to find someone you know or around here.

Otherwise, try ebay. Heaps of people are currently selling them there.

I had a similar situation. I had a spare ticket and I was about to sell it on ebay until I found someone to go with...my boyfriend :D

Anyhoo...good luck with selling the ticket. I'm pretty sure you'll find someone

ebay's the way to go.

i doubt anyone would catch you doing it there.

I'm not sure if anyone has already asked this so apologies if they have, but does anyone know the setlist for the concerts? Is it the same as the recent tour of the US. God I cannot wait, 30 days and counting :D:D:D

i have gold brisbane seated tickets for saturday night except its my sisters wedding so i wont be able to go, i was wondering if anyone would swap for similar or equivivilant tickets for the friday night. email me at [email protected] or msn [email protected]

Hey, Stuart, if you don't want to risk ebay, maybe you can try the Trading Post or some other newspaper? A friend from school said that he saw Coldplay tickets selling in there the other day, so I assume it's legal...

ebay isnt illegal. why is everyone so sceptical about it anyways? my dad bought billy connolly tickets off ebay, and not only was it safe and fine, the seller was so trustworthy. there's nothing wrong with it, and you will get a high price for the ticket. go to ebay, its worth it.

wow $250! as big of a fan i am, i dont think i would fork out all that moolah... :stunned: did u start liking them after the tickets went on sale?

your lucky bon, u get much more time to prepare... :(

Noooo i've been a fan for years, but the tickets went on sale during the HSC exams, and I didnt have any cash to buy them.

that's why you have lovely brothers who pay for them :nice:

Okay, I put my ticket on eBay with the starting price being what I paid for it (less actually, when you consider Tickettek's commission fee). I hope it sells, because I noticed some tickets on there with one day left that have no bids. I thought all tickets would be hot property right now with the shows having sold out?
