With my feet upon the ground I move myeslf between the sounds and open wide to suck it in. I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out. I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me. what ever will bewilder me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. Kenna
Cure - Pictures Of You lyrics i've been looking so long at these pictures of you that I almost beleive that they're real I've been living so long with my pictures of you that i almost believe that the pictures are all I can feel remembering you standing quiet in the rain as i ran to your heart to be near and we kissed as the sky fell in holding you close how I always held close in your fear remembering you running soft through the night you were bigger and brigther than the snow and screamed at the make-beleive screamed at the sky and you finally found all your courage to let it all go remembering you fallen into my arms crying for the death of your heart you were stone white so delicate lost in the cold you were always so lost in the dark remembering you how you used to be slow drowned you were angels so much more than everything oh hold for the last time then slip away quietly open my eyes but I never see anything if only I had thought of the right words I could have hold on to your heart if only I'd thought of the right words I wouldn't be breaking apart all my pictures of you Looking So long at these pictures of you but i never hold on to your heart looking so long for the words to be true but always just breaking apart my pictures of you there was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more than to feel you deep in my heart there was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more than to never feel the breaking apart all my pictures of you
::Hayley::
Dancing Cheek to Cheek ---------------------------------- Heaven, I'm in Heaven, And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak; And I seem to find the happiness I seek When we're out together dancing, cheek to cheek. Heaven, I'm in Heaven, And the cares that hang around me thro' the week Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak When we're out together dancing, cheek to cheek. Oh! I love to climb a mountain, And to reach the highest peak, But it doesn't thrill me half as much As dancing cheek to cheek. Oh! I love to go out fishing In a river or a creek, But I don't enjoy it half as much As dancing cheek to cheek. Dance with me I want my arm about you; The charm about you Will carry me thro' to Heaven I'm in Heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak; And I seem to find the happiness I seek When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek. - Fred Astaire Such a beautiful song :)

CityandColour
Wash Away - Vertical Horizon (live stages version, added lyrics) (lead vocals sang by Keith Kane) An old man lying by the road Black is night He's got his finger on the trigger An easy target in sight He's got no future, no family tree He's got a three dollar bottle And he drinks 'till he can't see All night, all night..... A young girl waiting on a line Eight a.m., she's got a six month old burden Willpower's withering thin An unwed mother beaten by her trade Each week her welfare reminds her Of mistakes she never made Oh no..... Chorus Now what has that to say about tomorrow What has that to show for today Noah thought to build an ark Before the heavens washed it all away Away... A baby crying through a dream An afterthought Mother is seething for pleasure After the poison is bought His eyes are tainted, staggered is his breath Oh God, he's addicted Addicted to death Oh, no... (Keith Kane singing) Two by two they enter now, Don't you think you'll wonder how? Can't you see he wants you there? Take you by your golden hair. (6x) (Matt Scannell singing) I know things will change I know things get better (2x) If I call out to you, would you lend me your hand? Would you save me from all that I might have been? (2x) (Keith Kane singing) The devil came upon me, he found me on my knees. Said, "Son, you ought to be a purer man, If you could see my spirit, baby, flowing through the breeze," Said, "Life could be so very grand." And so it shall be written, so then it shall be, Said, "So it shall be, therefore it shall be." So it shall be written, so then it shall be So it shall be written, so it shall be...yeah Noooooo, now, no Now what has that to say about tomorrow What has that to show for today Noah thought to build an ark Before the heavens washed it all away Away see i put "lead vocals sang by Keith Kane" because they actually have 2 lead singers, Matt Scannell sings the lead vocals in a majority of them but Keith Kane sings the lead vocals on some of them also, it depends on who writes the song. DONTPANICgirl
heres one of mine ALEX CHILTON=THE REPLACEMENTS If he was from Venus, would he feed us with a spoon? If he was from Mars, wouldn't that be cool? Standing right on campus, would he stamp us in a file? Hangin' down in Memphis all the while. (chorus:) Children by the million sing for Alex Chilton when he comes 'round They sing ";I'm in love. What's that song? I'm in love with that song."; Cerebral rape and pillage in a village of his choice. Invisible man who can sing in a visible voice. Feeling like a hundred bucks, exchanging good lucks face to face. Checkin' his stash by the trash at St. Mark's place. (chorus) I never travel far, without a little Big Star Runnin' 'round the house, Mickey Mouse and the Tarot cards. Falling asleep with a flop pop video on. If he was from Venus, would he meet us on the moon? If he died in Memphis, then that'd be cool, babe. (chorus) REM-THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT(and i feel fine) That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane and Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs. Feed it off an aux speak, grunt, no, strength, Ladder start to clatter with fear fight down height. Wire in a fire, representing seven games, a government for hire and a combat site. Left of west and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped. Look at that low playing! Fine, then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and the revered and the right, right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn. Locking in, uniforming, book burning, blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down. Watch your heel crush, crushed, uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier. Renegade steer clear! A tournament, tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line, Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine... (It's time I had some time alone)

Politik Is My Life
Oh God, I'd write 99% of Bruce Springsteen's lyrics, but there just are too many... Almost 400 songs... I'll write just few... "...Endless juke joints and Valentine drag Where dancers scraped the tears Up off the street dressed down in rags Running into the darkness Some hurt bad, some really dying At night sometimes it seemed You could hear the whole damn city crying Blame it on the lies that killed us Blame it on the truth that ran us down You can blame it all on me, Terry It don't matter to me now When the breakdown hit at midnight There was nothing left to say But I hated him And I hated you when you went away Laying here in the dark You're like an angel on my chest Just another tramp of hearts Crying tears of faithlessness..." - BACKSTREETS (This is like my favourite song, it means so much to me and my best friend... :) ) "...Baby this town rips the bones from your back It's a death trap, it's a suicide rap We gotta get out while we're young 'Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run..." - BORN TO RUN (This is like "the" best rock'n'roll song ever written!!! Amazing!!) Only few lines from two of his songs, if I write even a little bit more, I'm doomed, and so are you...

Jacob
Echoes by Floyd. Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves The echo of a distant tide Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine And no one showed us to the land And no one knows the wheres or whys But something stirs and Something tries And starts to climb towards the light Strangers passing in the street By chance two separate glances meet And I am you and what I see is me And do I take you by the hand And lead you through the land And help me understand the best I can And no one calls us to the land And no one crosses there alive And no one speaks And no one tries And no one flies around the sun And now this is the day you fall Upon my waking eyes Inviting and inciting me to rise And through the window in the wall Comes streamin in on sunlight wings A million bright ambassadors of morning And no one sings me lullabies And no one makes me close my eyes So I throw the windows wide And call to you across the sky.
