October 25, 200520 yr I think I'm an optimist, but sometimes I'm a pessimist about being an optimist. good expression, I think this is me, too...but really only sometimes!
October 25, 200520 yr A friend of mine once said: Being a pessimist is always good! Either you are right or you get a positive suprise :-) But I'm kinda optimist, though. Don't really know, it depends on the situation but most of the time I'm optimistic... at least I try ;-)
October 25, 200520 yr A friend of mine once said: Being a pessimist is always good! Either you are right or you get a positive suprise :-) hehe, that is so true. :D I'm so pessimistic... I have been a pessimist for ages.
October 25, 200520 yr depends on my current mood. Usually pessimistic because that is the spectrumc I usually inhibit in terms of balance.
October 25, 200520 yr I always expect the worst or see the more negative side of things, so i guess that would be considered pessemistic. I believe that the reason i always expect the worst is because there is no let down when the best comes around.
October 26, 200520 yr I always see the negative side of things--I'm a pessimist. Exactly the same here - I do know that there is a positive side to things .. one min I'm thinking all good and the very next min its just the opposote and gets worse from there :(

I believe that the reason i always expect the worst is because there is no let down when the best comes around.[/quote'] that is exactly what i believe too. i always used to be let down because i expected good, or expected positive things to happen. if i don't expect the best or the positive then it is an even better feeling when the best does come around.
October 26, 200520 yr I try to be an obtimist. I see it this way. You loook at things in a good light and lady luck might take favour. And if things go wrong i always think of the most positive aspect of the thing that went wrong.
