It's getting better...I went through physical therapy and now I work out every night...it caused ankle and back problems and those are eliminated, but now if i run i'll get a stress fracture. i don't mind...i can ride horses, that's all that counts. :)

 LoL I was fourteen, but not 12. I wish they would've caught it younger, it was a growth problem

i cut the sole of my left foot on a brick pretty deep, but not deep enough for stiches, in 2000.

the funny thing is my right foot has somehow gained a sorta scar/lump in exactly the same place as the scar on my left foot! :stunned:

I have a few small scars on my legs, arms and fingers... I just say these words: climbing, sharp rocks... --> an everyday occurrence ;)

I have a scar on my stomach from where I stuck a pole into the pavement and I walked into it and it jabbed me :stunned:

Oh I see it' date=' good of you to post, hey you got good looking arms. :D[/quote']

thanks! :wacky:

all the times i spoke about my head, and you never told me you had a plate in your arm?!

i have a plate in my head because i had brain surgery. you can see a pic of the surgery if you click on the link i made in my sig (Created Then Drilled and Invaded) but i dodn't put a pic of the scars on there. anyone care to see? ;)

i said something before!! you were worried about your plate getting you struck by lightning :P and i said it wouldn't increase your chances... but Ti is conductive so it might set off a metal detector if it was really sensitive..... but i don't think it would be likely.... i never went through a metal detector with my plate though.....

you may have said it, but it's not me, it's the meds!

i set off the security alarm at Six Flags Great Adventure. it was pretty cool. my Neurosuergon said i would not have any problem with it, so when i went through, i did not have any documents saying i had a plate in there. so i had to show him the scars on my head.

I've got a scar under my eye which the doctors gave to me when I was born. They used forceps to pull me out, and cut under my eye in the process. Another quarter inch in the wrong direction and they would have blinded that eye.

I climbed for seven years but now I'm making a "brake"... but the scars are still here :)

No, I haven't been to any interesting spots you could know. Where have you been?

Ricarda...I have been to Potrero Chico....in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon (Mexico)..it's a fairly popular site...Over the summer while i was there, they had this marathon type thing where a group of people went all around doing these extreme sports and they did rock climbing in Potrero Chico! it was

Plus i go to the climbing gym as much as i can to practice

The doctors did that to my older brother...he has a scar too!

But maybe if they HADN'T used the forceps..you would not have come out? :/

good call.

do you have any vision imparement from it?

my scars:

-upper lip from when I was four and my sister pushed me so I banged my head in the nearest radiator.

- the side of my waist, from the age of five, I was carrying more bottles of beer than I could and smashed all of them after falling. (i wish they were soda bottles :embarrased: )

- my knee after a small surgery from few years ago, the stitches didn't hold and now I call it my third eye ;)

- a lovely one  from last year, when my father accidentally dropped a long and heavy piece of wood on my leg and before it healed, i used some weird shower gel...

- then there are few more scars, for example, when my sister threw a chair towards me and my zipper on the trousers got stuck under my skin, and the other one, when she pressed hot lump of i really don't know what on my hand.

so anyone still wonders why I like my sister??

One on my belly from when my appendix was whipped out and one on my thumb from when I broke some glass as a wee boy. That's it!

i've got one at the outer corner of my left eye. happened when i just learned to walk. the babysitter was letting my climb the stairs. i fell and cut myself on the edge of the step.

i've got others on my wrist, shoulder, knuckles, and knees. got them all at once, when i was going on a scooter downhill. it was too fast and guess i just lost control.

i have a piece of lead pencil in my palm when i accidentally stabbed my palm with the lead pencil, i think someone accidentally pushed me behind me and somehow the pencil ended up in my palm. i was like 7 years old which explains it. and the lead pencil mark is still within my palm to this day. it's a bit odd, a random black thing in my palm.

^ wow thats kinda special lol how come you can't remove the lead?

- i have a scar about an inch under my eye from a table tennis racket ... i was about 8 years old and we were on a school trip playing table tennis and i was watching this match and someone went to play a shot and i was leaning over the table and bang the racket went straight into my face ... another inch higher i'm sure i would be blind in one eye :stunned: ...has healed well though

- i have another one on my wrist from getting something out of the oven

i have a couple others but i don't know what they are from :)

i have no idea about the lead! it's now under my skin so it's inside. it's so odd. :/

as for the table tennis racket... OUCHIE! sounds so painful!

another one i completely forgot about! about a term or two ago, at school there was a stopwork meeting which meant teachers were on strike for the first two periods of the day. it was our friends bday, so we chucked her a party the first two periods of school. we were playing musical chairs.

it came down to me and the bday girl.

being the geniuses the music control people were, they told us to do silly things to make it harder throughout the round. for the final round, they told us to close our eyes. naturally i listened without a thought, and naturally the birthday girl cheated. come on, it was her bday.

and off course my eyes shut and the bday girl cheating = not a good combination. she dived for the last chair, and accidentally stuck her foot out, i didn't know and tripped over her foot, and smashed my head on the nearby corner of the wooden table.

i then had a huge golfball lump across 1/2 my forehead and it also bled like icky stuff. :/ great description aye? and so now i have a bit of a scar (the remains) of my bruise thingymabobby. sort of like a scar for the good old memories of musical chairs.

never again i tell you. i have been permanently banned from playing musical chairs again. and for god damn good reason.

hmm let's see. my oldest one, i got when i was really young. it's across the top of my left palm, i got it when i crawled on to hot metal. the metal was part of my door leading to my back deck, and got hot from the sun.

another one i have on my right pinky, on the top. don't know where that's from. and a mini one on the top of my left hand that i don't know where it came from.

a big one, on my left knee i got about just under a year and a half ago at camp. i was playing basketball on a gravel court, and i passed the ball to my sister but she didn't see it. so i ran after trying to keep it in the court, and while i was running my right foot slid forward and i dragged my knee. it took forever to heal. my dad was angry at the camp, he said they should have sent me to the hospital to have gotten stiches. it used to be really big, but it shrunk down after it healed. but after that, it was sort of deformed and lumpy and sometimes it would get itchy, especially when i was active. so i went to my skin doctor, and she injected it with a bunch of needles. not only did it stop the itching, but it also, well...deflated sort of.

i also have this thing on my left shin. i'm not sure if it's a scar or not, but it could be.

and that's about it!

I have one on my knee from when I tripped and fell when I was 4.

I... I mean, I got scars from when I was shot nine times, yo. Yeah.
