at coldplay.com forum there's some guy that asks, and apologies if he's being rude or anything but thinks he should know since he's real fan, for how long has chris been drug-free?

I'm sure the guys have tried like... smoking or pot or something, but probably nothing heavy. They just don't seem that way. Which is good, since they're probably the first rock band that don't do drugs.

I read somewhere that they promised each other not to use coke. Or else that person would be thrown out of the band. :/

shit, i mean, Goerge Harrisson, who is the greatest songwriter ever, (according to how i feel) was using coke, so has it made my life bad to listen to his music? NOPE. it makes no difference, and it's no one's business, i wish everyone would get off this trip, examining the band members like that, get lost man!

Well.. first off, although I agree that it doesn't really matter (although, it kind of does because drugs can do BAD things to people; artists in particular and we definatly don't want that happening to any of our boys), can you even see Chris Martin, nerd extraordinare and health freak, doing drugs? :lol:

 

But I don't think any of them do drugs. I can actually see Will going crazy if he walked in on Jonny or Guy doing lines or something. Will seems to be very level-headed and almost "takes care" of the band. (Which is one of the reasons I love him :) ) He just seems extremly protective.

 

Plus, yes they did agree taht anyone doing coke would be kicked out and Chris has said before that weed does nothing for him.

:) chris...honestly, i do not think they do drugs...they wouldnt be so open and cool about it. we are learning about lie detection in psychology(comes in handy, trust me :sneaky: ) and a person that is saying the thruth about stuff like it wouldnt joke about it. last year i knew three kids in my economics class who were drug users...and they didnt say it so openly...just to brag, no one does...unless youre bob marley(kidding) :stunned:

 

coldplay is the cleanset band in the world, and knowing who much of a clean freak gwen is, she wouldnt have married chris if he was a drug addict... :/
