You should really invest in either Ultra or Songs of Faith and Devotion. Both albums are awesome. The Singles are awesome, too. I, too was hooked on the first CD, but then the second CD just blew me away. If you want to hear their eariler stuff, get The Singles 81>85. It really shows how much they have grown.

^ don't you just love when a great band can do that?? When you can hear back catalogs and hear the progression and evolement of a band? Awesome feeling.

^ I know! What I like about DM is that their progression was not all of a sudden. Each song, each album changed a bit, just enough to show their maturity

well i totally LOVE depeche mode, theyre one of my top favorite bands.. so seeing them perform LIVE was just unbelieveable for me. theres so much energy and theyre so good live. i was also on the floor so there was plenty of energy comin from the crowd too.

 

ure gonna have a GREAT time. if they come back to ny.. im gonna go see them again :D

I love "Enjoy The Silence", "Personal Jesus" and this melancholic ballad called "Home".

they played all three at the concert i went to.. *sigh* :nice:

HUGE fan since around '85 and I've attended over 20 shows since '88. The Violator tour had to be the best concert experience of my life, closely followed by the SoFAD tour. I had floor tickets for the show here back in October and I was AMAZED at how well of a show Dave and Martin continue to throw out for the fans.

 

Best. Band. EVER.

You can bet! I couldn't expect such a rush! The same thing happened with Robbie Williams's tix: 90,000 tickets for his San Siro Stadium show in Milan sold out in just three days!
