Hardest Part Next Single?

Featured Replies

I found some website, which I can't recall the location of at the moment :( , that claimed Coldplay's next single will be the Hardest Part or did I just miss the news? Does anyone know if there is any truth in this? (I hope it is)! :D

well, debs said on the coldplay website there would be another single... but i dont think it would be the hardest part. they havent even played it at most of the shows, only on occassion. id think it would be something like white shadows... or swallowed in the sea.

I hope it'll be Swallowed in the sea ... Which one would you like to be the next single ?

I'm really hoping that they'll release What If as a single because in my opinion it's the best song on the album. When they did some pre-X&Y shows, Chris often introduced it as "probably the best song we ever wrote" (which I agree with). I just don't understand why they haven't been playing it at all lately since it sounds soooo much better live than the studio version.

I hope it'll be The Hardest Part... It´s a very very good song

I think What If won't be the next ... they didn't play it during the Twisted Logic Tour

I think it'll either be White Shadows or Swallowed in the Sea

white shadows :D

or

square one!

i hope square one or swallowed in the sea...but all songs are super....!!! :D

I think What If won't be the next ... they didn't play it during the Twisted Logic Tour

They have played it, but only at the beginning of the tour. I think the last time the played it must have been sometime in June/July. Does anyone know why they took it out of the setlist? It's such a beautiful song!!!

^ actually Coldplay played What IF on 27th of December at BBC Studio,Chris said that he loves that song.he also said: the band came through a difficult period, they were confused, they didn't know which things they really like...or something like that

I'm rooting for "White Shadows." That chorus is killer. I think it coud be their biggest hit to date, and I would love seeing a video for it.

i love the song Twisted Logic brilliant song just not single material i dont thing, i think i will probably be White Shadows

I hope The Hardest Part.

But for me, it's more important that it has good b-sides. I mean, we already have whatever the a-side will be.

i think swallowed in the sea. id like that as a single anyway.

til kingdom come also wouldnt suprise me.

I dont really care what the next single will be, but hopefully there will be some decent b-sides. But I think WHITE SHADOWS would make a good single.

I agree White Shadows should be the next single. It is one of their best songs on the album. :)

What if is a great song, but they should put out something that doesn't sound too much like any other single. They've done the piano ballad thing, so now it's time for a change. White Shadows would be good, Hardest Part would work as a single as well. :)

yes hopefully whatever Solid Ground is or was called turns up in some form!

Is this the proper forum for this topic?

anyways, my vote is A Message, althougth I think it will be SITS (but I wish it would be x&y)....

I do hope it's A Message. That song is all around brilliant and after Talk which was more fast paced (sorta) and rockin', A Message is mellower and a great anthem to follow up with...
