January 13, 200620 yr Thought I'd dedicate a thread to the the fast upcoming 2006 season. Lots of intriguing story lines this year... 1) Alonso going to McLaren. Will Fisi get a better shot now that the team will support him more than last season? 2) Red Bull: No doubt the breakout team of last year and now with Newey who knows where they'll be. Toyota should also be included in this. 3) Schumi's Farewell Tour: According to many people this may be his last season. If it is, lets hope he goes out with a bang. 4) Barichello and BAR: Lets see if Rubens can show his potentional. And Button... wow this is like your 'do-or-die' year. 5) Two new teams entering this season so we'll 22 cars on the grid this season. Should make for some great racing! 6) The new rule changes (Yes, again) being introduced should favour Ferrari and Bridgestone... but will it? And also the introduction of the V8's should be interesting. 7) The new qualifying setup sounds intriguing. Hope its not another bust. 8) Was picking Massa as a Ferrari driver really the best option? Feel free to add something that I may have missed, which I'm pretty sure I have. My predictions for the championships are: WDC: 1) Michael Schumacher 2) Kimi Raikonnen 3) Fernando Alonso WCC: 1) McLaren 2) Ferrari 3) Renault

January 16, 200620 yr i just cant wait for Oct.1st 2006, cuz on that day the F1 Chinese Grand Prix will be held in Shanghai!YEAH! and Oct.1st is also our national day! i've seen a REAL F2004 at FerrariStore in Shanghai, and i'll go there again this Wednesday with my friends!HOORAY!! Rubens has departed for Honda, that's a shame! hopefully Massa will do quite well in this upcoming season. i''d like to see Schumi and Kimi together on the Scuderia Ferrari team, so i really hope Schumi wont retire at least until 2008. Rumors say that Valentino Rossi will probably join Ferrari. i think maybe he's the most eligible one to take Schumi's place, as he's shown his great talent for F1 racing. anyway, GO FERRARI!!!! GO SCHUMI!!!!

GO SCHUMI!!!! Kimi and Schumi ain't happening so don't get your hopes up to high. Its way too money to pay, especially since FIAT is having financial problems. And secondly, Rossi is no where near being ready to drive an F1 car. His test times are way off of a real F1 driver. I sincerely hope he never gets on a track with professional F1 drivers. He has the talent for racing... but on two wheels. Lets keep it that way.

So, its just my hope. i just HOPE that would happen, while i know there aint much possibility. anyway, my practical hope is Schumi will finish 1st in Shanghai. actually in 2004 and 2005 he gained no points here. maybe the circuit is a bit too new for him. and hopefully this year, the young circuit will see his triumph!

I can't imagine him driving for Ferrari in 2008. Would be very interesting though.
April 1, 200620 yr What do you think about tomorrow race? Jenson Button was 1st at the clasification :)
April 1, 200620 yr Who does Alain Prost bat for these days? ;) Let's see... he retired, started his own team, had it go relativley well for afew seasons, didn't do so well later and let someone buy them out, and then I don't know...
April 1, 200620 yr What do you think about tomorrow race? Jenson Button was 1st at the clasification :)One or both of the Renaults take him in corner one, and/or Kimmi Raikonnen takes him. Its really hard to predict considering the variations in fuel loads. Hard to tell whos really fast or who has a full tank. Button and the Renaults look light.

April 4, 200620 yr I´m supporting Kimi, and I can´t believe how much bad luck he´s had. It´s just unbelievable. Alonso is good indeed, but I hope it´s finally Kimi´s turn this year. Everything is possible before the end of the season.
April 4, 200620 yr Alonso again! why the heck he's always soooo lucky!? well, seems its gonna be another tough year for the reds.
