since there's no live streaming on my satellite or national tv,i was wonderin' if anyone will be interested in taping it-i mean coldplay performance? i'm sure i'm not the only one who would really like to see it... ;)

I hope it won't be Talk or SOS. Inferior songs IMO compared to their other work. Maybe Fix You or Swallowed, or even something off of the new album, cuz I for one am tired of hearing the same ol X&Y songs on EVERY SINGLE SHOW OF THE TOUR FOR THE PAST YEAR!!

Yeah I agree with Corum, they shouldn't play Talk or Speed of Sound, they've played both many many times on television appearances.

I think that playing Politik a few years back was an amazing choice, and doing with the orchestra, gave it that once in a lifetime performance feel. It was a much more heartfelt performance than what I've seen them do on TV appearances this year.

 

So, Fix You would be a great choice, but ideally, I'd think that it shouldn't be one of their singles.

 

My top choices are:

 

1. Twsited Logic

2. Square One

3. Fix You

4. X&Y with an orchestra providing strings

5. How You See The World (though not likely)

My top choices are:

 

1. Something off new album.

2. A duet with someone else, to shake things up a little - and the Grammy's are famous for having imaginative duets happen (Em adn Elton, Beyonce and Prince, etc)

3. A medley of their hits, something they have never done.

4. Twisted Logic, Swallowed or Hardest Part if it has to be something off the X&Y album.

5. Something acoustic with Just Chris and a piano or guitar. Slow, easy, realxed and intimate, just him and a spotlight and hopefull a damn good song.

yeah...well i think it should be something special cus they have forbidd Debs to tell anything about it..but who knows..i know i would be delighted (but only if they do exactly what i'm going to say)- Talk with Kraftwerk-that would be awsome...i adore Talk but they have overplayed it, so maybe something new added to it would be great..but i think they should do something totally new and in collaboration just like Corum said..don't know though..

 

my guesses are white shadows- till kingdom comes- swallowed in the sea. ;)

i think alot or critics are agreeing that they will probably win Best Rock Album. As for the others, I think u2 was the frontrunner.... damn them, leave it to Bono to steal Coldplays thunder...

 

 

If they aren't talking about what they are performing, then its probably going to be a surprise. And since they aren't leaving LA for awhile, and have been there for a couple of days, they have probably been planning it. Just think, what if they did Til Kingdom Come & Ring of Fire... it'd be dangerous, but Id LOVE it...

I'd love something from the album but all this shush-shushedness about it makes me think it'll be a collaboration. Maybe In the Sun with Michael?

 

It's crazy because even in the Grammy previews, I haven't seen Coldplay being announce as performers.

you know, what if they did "in The Sun" w/ michael stipe? That's not totally out of the question.... Its getting alot of publicity right now too
