I've had my dream fulfilled.

 

I've heard 'Clocks', 'Green Eyes', 'The Scientist', and 'Trouble' live. My life is complete!

I'd rather have had them play Trouble instead of Green Eyes at my concert. But what the heck, I guess it evens out with seeing Trouble on Live 2003.

 

I can't freakin wait till tomorrow night.

maybe he was jus singing without the piano for right now during the rehearsals then during the actual performance he will go to the piano.but sometimes he plays the piano then leaves to go jump around.Hey maybe they will do Square One??

whatever they perform i know that they will be amazing.

 

here's hopeing the U2 doesnt steal some of their awards... that bono, what to do w/ him... lol

If U2 will win they're not stealing anything...and of course I will be happy if Coldplay don't get them beacuse of U2 instead of anyone else :cool:

no, talk is a good song and it's kinda new to the world that don't listen to coldplay! jebus, it's only been out for a bit more then a month..

but i'm still hoping they do it with kraftwerk!!!

I know, but it's one of their weaker songs and it's not a song they perform particularly well, I think.

 

It would be better if they did a more obscure song, I think :idea2:

Well....................you are right Mimi....I think talk gets boring....it is a good song...but not their best......and it was played too much on the radio (well.......here in Germany)....I don't know how it was in other countries.....they have to come a)with a new performance of it/a special talk performance

or

b)with another song!

Yeah Julia a special performance of it would be good. However their Politik from the 2003 awards was spectacular and I'd like to see something like that again, I think.

 

I just think with the whole "Coldplay are dull and predictable" backlash that's happened at the moment they should really prove the critics wrong :idea2:

judging by the moves of chris it will be talk, you know how he does that thing with his fingers everytime jonny plays the melody...and there are those moves of wire image pics.

as for gwyneth attending i heard that too, but maybe they did it just in case, the organisation, but i don't think gwyn and chris would break that *deal*...in any case.. ;)

I totally agree, it's my same feeling they were rehearsing Talk :cool:

it's just disapointin', for me..cus there you see (on grammys) a bunch of ppl trying to make something really special ( beyonce with prince , this year madonna with gorillaz ) and they're doing it like it's just somethin' you do every few months, maybe it's their way of showing how much they care about these...don't get it, really... :rolleyes:

I also hope it's not Talk, as I've expressed a few times now.

 

I don't think that they perfrom it poorely, I just think that they've played Talk on the majority of their Television appearances since the release of X&Y. I also think that the band plays really well, but Chris doesn't always sing it that well.

 

But from the pictures it really does look like Talk. I still have my fingers crossed for Twisted Logic, or Low, or X&Y or something like that!

 

I really think they need to do something artistic with this performance!

Watching the picture, I definetly think they are going to do Talk! But I still hope it will be another song...

someone gave the idea it will be In the sun , and i think that is such an obvious choice and can't belive how we didn't remembered it sooner...

I don't think they have much of a choice. I think the Grammy lot pretty much decide what they want them to play - and Talk is the one everyone knows right now and is upbeat. It's bound to be that one. But that's okay - Jonny will hopefully do his strut up the catwalk like he did for the MTV awards :)

now that would kill me!

lol yah. i think the grammys kinda tell you what they would like you to perform... and dont forget, coldplay has been on the road for a good two weeks, they haven't really had time to come up with something extremely out there, so they probably just picked the one that they felt they could perform the best... not to mention talk is their current single...

 

although i think that if they couldve, "in the sun" wouldve brought the house down since michael stipe and chris martin do an amazing rendition w/ this song...

I don't think the Grammys decide what they have to sing, otherwise I don't think they would have played Politik in 2003, it was not an obvious choice :cool:
