The things you did, or would do to see Coldplay.

What are somethings you did or would do to see Coldplay?

I ditched a whole day of school. I'd ditch a whole week depending on how good the seats were. I saw 2 shows in a row. So, yeah.

How bout you?

I'd ditch anything if my parents would let me.

Haha, my mom didn't know. Anaheim nights, best nights of my life.

im missing one entire week of university classes right before final exams to see the shows in my sig.

Well, I've never paid so much for a band. I usually stick to the smaller venues, with reasonable prices. But this is Coldplay, and I've been waiting too long. It was worth it, although my college student wallet took a massive beating.

owenrees_73, that is dedication! I can't say anything bad though, because I would probably do the same exact thing if I had the means. You're going to have so much fun. I'm kind of jealous! Have fun!

Count me in for ditching classes! I'm gonna miss 3 days during finals week.. :dead: no idea what I'm going to do after, but I couldn't be bothered with worrying about that yet.

Ermmm...probably standing from 10am-6pm in the freezin ass cold two days straight to get to the front row. Totally worth it though!!! :)

I'd do anything for those guys. Im seriously considering saving up a load of cash and putting it aside in an account, especially for if I feel like going crazy sometime and buying a plane ticket to go see them abroad :dizzy: :wacky:

Whoa!!! Mad props for the dedication. Yeah...that's pretty much insane. I guess if they were playin down here for a week straight I'd do the same. But that's nuts...props up.

Mine are not too impressive but

I have driven 5 hours to Cinn. to meet a friend, we both had never been there and got lost so many times. Arrived 3 hours before the gates opened and sat in the hot hot sun and heat of the blacktop. hmm charged tickets to credit cuz even thought I didnt have the money at the moment, I just had to get that priceless ticket. I also tend to buy the best possible ticket at that moment. and when something better comes along and so on. yeah I def have had one too many tickets to the same show in the past.

I plan to skip class all next wednesday to scope out the venue. yeah early as in leave before noon? I'm still deciding. This is probably the last time I get to see them for at least a year. so why not do it big?

Why not scalp the extra tickets before the concert? People go nuts for em sometimes. We upgraded our seats, and like a second later, some guy bought our old ones for 50 bucks a piece. Pretty good day. :D

And you're right, it's probably the last time you'll see them for not just a year, but like, THREE! Or at least, that's what he said for us Californians. :embarrased:

^ yeah I sold the extra tickets to friends and other people from posting them at a university website, so everything worked out ok.

:)

waited most of th night and morning for a ticket to the Koko gig. Damn it was a long one.

If I had to ditch school to see them, I'd do it without a second thought (uh, if it wasn't during finals week... God if it was that would SUCK)!

I'd also get there super early for front row.

But... I won't have to think about it for another three years... unfortunately...

Teachers can ditch school too! ;)

Get this. Last Tuesday (the Feb 7th show in Anaheim, CA) I didn't even have tickets to, and I already told myself ever since I knew of the gig to not go to the show, because I had a midterm that night in my night class. FUCK! I had this weird feeling like I should go, and I can't miss this show. So around 11:00am I called my teacher left him a message said I had mono and ditched my midterm that night! :stunned: :stunned:

Best decision I have ever made in my entire fucking life. Turns out that gig would be the last Califonia gig they'll play for 3+ years. I ended up getting 6th row dead center seats (check the vids from that night in the link in my sig). Holy shit, things really lucked out for me that night.

I still can't believe I ditched my midterms for them. Duh, Coldplay is worth it. Haha

You're friggin stupid. Hahaha just kidding. Best night of my life.

OMG... how'd you get the tickets then?!

Anything.

Literally anything that didn't involve hurting someone I love or permenant damage... erhem allow me to rephrase: permenant physical damage to myself.

dude...

I would do anything if I lived by myself,

and... the people I go with don't wanna skip classes.... so.....

:bigcry:

I would do that fear factor thing--like eat a spider or something.

OMG... how'd you get the tickets then?!
I have my ways *taps fingers together* ways that don't involve scalpers (thank god!). Hahaha, this was the 3rd out of 5 Coldplay shows I went to that I was able to get really good seats hours before the concert started.

I'm still very tempted to go to the NY and NJ shows next month. Hmmm.

It's not that hard to get tickets. Just keep your eyes open, be persistent, and never settle. Those ingredients plus some $$KA-CHING$$MOOLA$$CASH$$DOLLAS$$ETC$$ then you got yourself some seats to one of the greatest shows known to man. Haha, now as for the REALL way of getting tickets, I'm lost. Hahaha or maybe not.

i'd suck a big fat cock!!!
