If Coldplay split up tomorrow, would this board survive?

Featured Replies

Well....would it??

Seeing as the lounge has nothing to do with Coldplay...it might. But I suppose It mightn't attract as much people.

of course it would.....

its a 'community'... we will always have the band no matter if or when they break up.

It isn't about coldplay most of the time anyway. And we'd always have the music :D so yes!

i would like to think it would.

We would still come together and remember Coldplay :P

it would just turn into a U2-board

I'm here for the people,( especially those who luff muse so mwhahaha ) :P

I guess yes... I'm here for the people too! :)

I also think it would survive!Or aren't there for example Beatles messageboards?

I wouldn spend so much time on this board then... but they still got some of the best albums ever, even if they split up ;)

yeeeessss! feel the love damit

I like too many people around here and that's completely unrelated to Coldplay. ;)

i'll buy this place and burn it down.

i'll put it six feet underground.

:uhoh:

blame it on a rush of blunt trauma to the head. :dizzy:

Of course it would survive! :D

awww cute avvie

*Suddenly you can hear to Gloria Gaynor singing: "I WILL SURVIVE"*

Hell no.

I know most of you enjoy saying "SURE IT WILL SURVIVE" to be fashionable, and I'm tempted to do the same, but when you've been here a while you begin to notice how many people leave this messageboard.

The people who posted here regularly, 6 months ago, are very, INCREDIBLY, different from the people who post here now. It's a completely different world.

And in 6 months from now, the people posting here now, many will have left, and there will be new ones, and I'll be one of the few to acknowledge the change.

And the shame is that coldplay and their shitty songs and albums are the people who bring about new ones.

I wouldnt mind a whole lot if it closed down tomorow, I'm a bit sad for being here with my 17 posts a day average for 3 years anyway. Christ.

Reilly,sometimes I think you're not 19,but 79...So philosophic

yeah the music lives on...think about other stars and musical artists whose memories live on strongly. My favorite for dedicated to a musician who is deceased ( and can almost make it seem like he is alive, it is so awesome) is Elliott Smith's website (not his , a fansite) SweetAdeline.net.

and there are many more.

It's the memory of the notes they play that would stay here. And actually, prolly more people would come here, finding out the news. Commonly, people become more noticed at death than life, for some odd reason. Like they have been martyred or somethin

yeah.

there's my two cents

Thanks Valery, yeah sometimes I feel old because I stole a zimmerframe and grew attached to it

:uneasy: Poor you then :/ But I like smart people :smartass:
