Trilogy = coldplay 99-2005

Featured Replies

Might get a few bad replys to this but i was thinking.

Coldplay say that the the three albums released to date are part of a trilogy. Correct?

And that they are gonna move on with a different sound, dark n edgier! Correct?

Should we expect a Coldplay 99-2005 album with all their singles to date??

It would be a good idea to fill the gap between the next album(4th) release!

Wot u think??

Or do you think thats just cashing in on it???

I'd buy it!

I definitely wouldnt! I hate bands doing this.. It's absolutely nonsense in my opinion. So, hopefully they won't..dare them!

they definitely need to bring something new,but i'm not sure they should take a pause,if they're full of ideas they should record the songs and after they'll decide if are they good enough they'll release them but if it's not they'll simply re-record them

I don't want them to release a greatest hits album or anything like that, but I would love a more comprehensive live album.

It's too early for them to release a greatest hits album, but I'd buy it if they ever released something like it. Same goes with a b-side album, I'd buy it but it's too early.

By the looks of things the filler will be the live dvd. That should hopefully hold us over until the next album!

Looks like the live DVD will have alot more stuff on it though. :)

I'm very excited about it.

I think they're too classy to do a greatest hits album, but I agree that a live or b-sides special album would be absolutely luurrrvely.

Yeah, I agree. It's still early for that, but if it ever came out, I'd buy it, too. =)

Doesn't depend on the band, but if the record company fancies making a quick buck, than no-one can stop them

What about a special edition digipack? Then they could make you all happy. A live CD with bonus live DVD.
