You have to go to User CP --> Edit Options, then scroll down to 'Message Editor Interface' and set it to 'Standard Editor'....the smiley box then should appear when posting a reply. The default is set to 'basic editor' I think (that's how it was for me anyway). Is this even what you're talking about? :lol:
