Rocker Pete Doherty has put his own bizarre twist on his wedding banns for Kate Moss by planning to pen them in his own blood.

According to friends of the Babyshambles frontman, Pete felt there was no better way top declare his undying love for the super-model than by writing the legal paper-work in blood.

But his ‘loving’ gesture was unhinged, according to the Daily Star, when he arrived at Fulham Town Hall with a vial of blood to fill out the forms.

The sickened officials soon showed Pete a cup full of biros, explaining the idea was against local health and safety regulations. But Pete decided then not to bother, leaving disapointed with vial in hand.

It's the latest twist in the couple's wedding plans, after Doherty put in a request to hire the ground of his beloved football club Queens Park Rangers for when he marries Moss.

Moss also took her family and friends to an exclusive villa in Bali last month for what she hoped would be her wedding to Doherty. But the wedding was off after Doherty failed to show up after he was ordered into a rehabilitation clinic in Britain following his arrest for possessing class A drugs.

I don't know if that statement about them doing the album is... true? I mean that just sounds really weird for me. They just came out with one album. They've HARDLY advertised it. Gary told me that they'd be back in October, and I heard Anthony, Didz and Carl mentioned it onstage. Plus the West coast dates have already been leeked......... :confused: Weird. I want them to come baaaack *whines* I don't know if it will be October though, now that I think about it, it seems really soon and no tickets have been going on sale...

Kinda my reaction as well. But according to the mods at the forum there would be an update as to what stopped the boys from touring with Mando Diao on Wendsday.

And I wonder if the boys even know wtf is going on themselves.. I was at Gary's myspace earlier and he replied to someone that he didn't know what was going on with the tourdates at all :\

Babyshambles sign new record deal

Pete Doherty heads to Lily Allen’s home

Babyshambles have signed a new record deal.

 

The band, who left their previous label Rough Trade after their contract expired, have joined up with Parlophone division Regal.

 

The band will now record ‘The Blinding EP’ for their new label, also the home of Lily Allen, to be released in November, Music Week reports.

 

There had been much speculation that Doherty’s band would join the EMI label, after they previously told NME.COM: “We are looking forward to making a great record with Babyshambles.”

 

Meanwhile Babyshambles are set to head out on a UK tour.
