 I was about to post the same thing as well.

I have to admit, I couldn't help myself from staring at her. Constantly and for a looong time.

Hottest woman alive. The end.

Proof: Glastonbury last year. WHO LOOKS THAT HOT AT A FESTIVAL?!

395se3.jpg

If I could choose to have anything on earth, I'd go for her legs.

OMG sexy!

:bigcry: wanna go

And the photo before , ur so right therese !! :stunned: , i olso love her style ... pretty much everything she wears it looks good on her

Oooooohh just had this bright idea of going through some old NMEs I happened to have. Don't ever do that. I mean, on one side, I came accross loads of good things (coughphotoscough) that I totally skipped when I bought them. It's amazing how many new bands you start liking in just a matter of months. But, on the other side, you bump into tragedy itself. The future gigs section appears. And yeah, I WAS THERE AND MISSED A LOT OF AMAZING GIGS! OH MY FUCKING GOD I WANT TO STICK A PENCIL INTO MY EYES AND POP THEM OUT. :bigcry: I don't want to go on reading! Just for you to imagine how big this is, two of my favourite artists where playing right accross the street while I was in the UK. And yes, more than once. If you're curious to know, those two artists are The Kooks (FVD$&DVY("FV!GHTH$$%%"/G#) and my very new love Regina Spektor. The (only) good bit is that when I finally decided to stop staring stupidly at tour dates and turn the page, I find "This week recommender: Dirty Pretty Things". Well it's just a page, but at least you get a cool photo and some cool stuff mentioned as well. As if that will make me feel any better.

Sorry about the rambling, I'm going to bed now hoping I wake up and find out it's actually Jan 06.

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaa, see I'm lucky that way. Since I live in the States, I don't feel TOO much guilt, hardly anyone tours when they're a new band anyways :laugh4: But I certainly don't like to hear about gigs that I missed because I was either taking an exam (as was the case when Arctic Monkeys did their first US tour in April, but that was 18+ and I was still 17, so). And the Libertines played around Boston quite a few times. Was probably too young for that too! LMFAO damnit.

daaaaaaaaaamnit.

I will never see Peter and Carl together :( Agh, crazy talk. Of course I will. I have to keep positive!!

Oh well, I just need to accept all this stuff and let it sink. For me it's quite the opposite. Liking foreign bands only leaves you with the choice of travelling to see them or leave it all to luck and pray for some tour dates to coincide with the time you're on holidays. And that is if you're out somewhere really far from home on holidays, which don't usually happen. Oh well well well, I hate the expression, but I guess shit happens after all.

Oh right, STAY POSITIVE. I'll have to write that on my forehead to remember it.

We're Libertines fans. Staying positive is pretty much all we have! :laugh4: Hopefully not anymore, maybe it'll start to finally pay off! ;)

This thread should be renamed: SUPPORT GROUP (for Libertines' fans). That would apply to me as lots of the bands I like are not longer together. At least some of them are still producing amazing stuff (I know, I know, separate ways is not the same but can't be complaining about everything!).

Ok, I was determined to go to bed early tonight but it looks like I'm not sleeping much again. Catch you tomorrow girl, take care :wink2:

It really should be a support group. Honestly, I will die from joy if they ever get back together. I just... I want to see it. Call me selfish, and I freely admit I am, but what the hell!!! But then.... I love 'Shambles and DPT so so so much on their own accounts.... So I'm completely torn. This is aweful. If Peter and Carl had gone off and done shit work, I'd be more "OMG REUNION GET THEM TOGETHER NOW!" but instead, what they've done is brilliant. Gah. Damn these men. They make my brain complicated and confused. :laugh4:

Haha, yeah I was supposed to go to bed a couple hours ago, but whatever. Obsessing keeps me awake too often! :laugh4: I think I'll shove off too, though. Toodle loo (wow that looks weird typed out??)

On a happier note..

Babyshambles joined onstage by old pals

Kate Moss and Shane MacGowan sing at Dublin show

Babyshambles were joined onstage by Kate Moss and Shane MacGowan in Dublin last night (September 26).

The Pogues singer MacGowan joined Pete Doherty and the band for a version of folk legend Ewan MacColl's 'Dirty Old Town', which The Pogues covered on their 1985 album 'Rum, Sodomy & The Lash'.

MacGowan has joined Babyshambles to sing the tune before, most notably at this summer's Benicassim festival in Spain.

The loudest cheer of the night was reserved for supermodel Moss' appearance onstage to sing the duet 'La Belle et La Bete' with Doherty, as she had done the night before at the opening night of the tour at Carlow Music Factory.

Earlier, a raucous welcome greeted Doherty as he sauntered onstage to an already euphoric crowd following frenetic sets from The Holloways and The Noisettes, despite the latter's Shingai Shoniwa having injured her right arm before the gig.

Throughout the set Doherty was pelted with towels, shoes, clothes, cigarettes and books, the singer attempting to catch all that was flung his way and even reading from a book hurled onstage at one point.

This was the second Irish tour for the band to include guitarist Mick Whitnall, now the full-time replacement for Patrick Walden, who left the band earlier this year.

Babyshambles play the Mandela Hall in Belfast tonight (September 27) before beginning their UK tour at Birmingham Academy on October 1.

The dates are as follows:

Birmingham Academy (October 1)

Leeds University (2)

Southampton Guildhall (3)

Norwich UEA (4)

London Brixton Academy (5)

Liverpool Academy (6)

Glasgow Academy (7)

Nottingham Rock City (8)

Manchester Academy (9)

Newcastle Academy (10)[/b]

Kate Moss's Doherty duet

Kate Moss joined lover Pete Doherty onstage for a duet on Monday (25.09.06).

The supermodel delighted the sell-out crowd by taking to the stage at Pete's first show since he checked out of rehab for drug addiction.

Kate, sporting a black sweater mini-dress, and Pete belted out the track 'La Belle et La Bete' - which translates as 'Beauty and The Beast'.

One fan said: "It was a fantastic moment. Everyone went wild. Kate looked sensational - and she sounded great."

Pete, 27, had only checked out of London's The Priory clinic for cocaine and heroin addiction earlier that day. The Babyshambles frontman was seen sipping water while Kate enjoyed a bottle of lager.

Kate, who exited the stage after one song to take photographs of the band, left the crowd screaming for more at Carlow's Music Factory, Ireland.

The 32-year-old model also ignored Ireland's strict smoking ban in public places by chain smoking throughout the show.

Babyshambles were scheduled to play another sell-out concert at Dublin's Ambassador last night (26.09.06).

Kate reportedly ditched her luxury five star hotel suite to stay with Pete and the band on the tour bus.

When asked about the possibility of the pair marrying in Ireland, Pete blushed and said: "No comment."

Aww..bless him

Kate's so hardcore. :laugh4:

Aw man. I'm so happy. awwwwwwwwwwwwwww
