I think if at some point in life you have "people" that do stuff for you, that automatically sets the narcissistic gene inside you(and I really mean this, excuse me :smug:)

And I feel that's how it was before yanno, back in the like renaissance days. Artists, painters, whatever was your craft...you were approachable. I mean seriously, just because you can sing, dance, write, whatever and have fame oh and have money that fills up your head with bullshit? :rolleyes:

I think I know what you mean, Red. ;) It's like.... it's much more personal. He doesn't have a personal assistant or representative talking for him. And although what he might have to say or do may be fucking annoying, or stupid, or just really.... sad, sometimes, it's still HIM. And we (no matter how many people may call us crazy) love him for it. Because it is and it isn't about the person. For me it's first and foremost about the music; the lyrics, melodies, performances. But then I realize that it's the man that is doing this, and I love him because of that.....

 

 

Peter truly is a modern great renaissance artist. He's in that mold and style. If he were born longer ago, he would have been Oscar Wilde, or so I like to think ;) I guess.... I just love that whole "libertine" persona right now, and I identify with it, and I've come to find that a lot of bands also do (well, maybe not out right like the Libs were, but still it's there in the way they present themselves and put themselves out there). Coldplay... they're not "libertines." And I think that's my problem! :laugh4:

I know this doesnt really relate, but is it just me or does it bother you when people can put a label on you?. I would hate it if people could say "Ey, you are a (insert stereotype here)".

 

Peter, yes total Renaissance artist. Love the comparison to Wilde, because he sort of is. Wilde was and is still widely criticized, and Peter gets picked on too and that's only one field they relate to one another(I can infer you know what I mean :wink:)

Hello girls! I was only gone for like a day and I missed a lot!

 

First with the coldplay thing, I've realized latetly that I've stoped listening to them too, they're still one of my favorite bands, and they were great to me a moment of my life but right now I'm discovering all this other music that I didn't notice before! At this moment in my life this new music fits the way my life is going! Everything new is exciting, and that's kind of what I'm living at the moement.

I didn't want to admit it at first, but I was disapointed by the way Chirs acted when Steph and Kara met him. I dunno, I might go back to loving colplay like I did, I might not. I can't say for sure, maybe thats a part of my life that's not coming back but that I'll remember as a good time. (Like when I loved the backstreet boys. LMAO. jkjk)
