DPT, Shambles or The Libs fans maybe are supposed to be sad ppl ('cos The Libs don't exist) but also weird just 'cos they admire bands who had gone throught difficult experiences in life such as taking hard drugs, or being about to die, or hurt themselves and many things - that's something that most of bands have never lived - luckily. ;) but oh well, their fans are precisely cheerful, normal ppl. When I was considering about going to a Babyshambles gig, I confess I also I was a bit scared of the ppl I could meet over there.

I know what you mean, Iris. Cant add anything else I'd quote you again, that's exactly what we all fans go through. Most people dont see why we like them, but maybe as you said is because they have suffered. Opposite to other bands that write sad songs or happy songs or whatever, but that is thanks to a feeling not an actual experience. Not that I prefer one or the other, but it feels way more personal when you KNOW the person has gone through whatever they are expressing in their music :nice:

But i'm so glad I didn't now, 'cos this is a realy small venue (for London anyway) only 2000 people compared to over 5000 at Brixton. 'Spose it was meant to happen! :)

I've just got a new camera, especially for taking to gigs ('cos it's so teeny, i can get it in easily) and the quality is incredible, aswell as the video too. So i'll be able to take lots of pics and nice clear videos too! :dance:

 

And i'll try and take whole-song videos, 'cos I always love it when fans post those!
