What the hell, that thread about Peter and Kate at the ball is really REALLY pissing me off. what the fuck has gotten into Libs fans lately? I don't like them at all. You people seem to be the only decent ones left! What the fuck is the problem anyways, he's not a hypocrit. He's still making excellent music, he's clean, he's with someone he obviously cares for, why should we give a fuck? We need to respect him and give him credit for that at least. Obviously I'm not saying he's beyond faults and I'm not saying we don't have the right to point them out and discuss... but this is just ridiculous.

Off course you're intitled to do that and post whatever you want and I'm not asking anyone to kiss their asses but I do think that they could all treat each other and the band members with respect. When someone like Adam and Drew actually takes the time to post something at least respect it and don't call them all sorts of names or rant...

Don't fucking blame Drew, Adam, Didz, Stan cause they had nothing to do with the band breaking up. Fucking hell... Whatever happened to respect?!

Anyway, to the point... The past is the past and it was wonderful but fucking hell, MOVE ON! Everyone else has so why can't most of the fans?!

 

 

I am aware I used the word respect about half a dozen times but I'm just getting so fucking annoyed with all the stuck ups. Those kinda posts is the reasons I stopped posting at the Shambles board. It just wears you out..

Totally agree, obviously. I just can't stand it on there, people act as though they know everything and no one says otherwise. It's not like there are fights that break out, hardly, it's just a bunch of snooty uber-posting assholes who feel entitled enough to beat everybody down. It's something I'm not interested in, nor have I ever been. I would never put the blame of the Libs breakup on anyone. I dunno, people aren't that big deep thinkers though around there lately, I suppose.

Hmmm, well since I was all pissy about the Libs forum and that, I put them on and oh man... I was just thinking... A random thought that probably doesn't make much sense outside my head, but I was sitting here remembering how incredible it was when I first discovered the Libs, that feeling they gave me. Really it was awesome, I dunno how to describe it. But that feeling's never really stopped.......

I so hate forums for those kind of things. People think that because they're fans or know a couple of songs/whatever have the right to start slagging people off as if they own that position. I don't know, it's a totally different thing stating what you think about a particular thing (still, don't think it's right to be judgemental in any case), but when respect is lost that's just unacceptable. And whoever states such judgements should really be ashamed of calling him/herself a fan, or a decent person still. It does sound a bit too radical, but I think that's the only option I'm left with.

On a personal note, I'm extremely put off by those kind of things. As, for example (I know, not much to do but still, you get the point), on gigs, when people standing right next to the stage start talking among them in the middle of songs, when they've been pushing for the last half hour as mad to get to the front. I mean, wtf? I can totally understand if you were, say, dragged to a concert, or you just popped down for curiosity, But then, stay by the bar, have a drink and chill out without bothering other people. There's no need to be shoving when you can be much more confortable at the back. I know, that was pretty random but I think it's kinda the same with all this Peter slagging.

 

And as Tea say, MOVE ON. This things happens everytime a band breaks up. What's the need of finding the guilty one? When probably, there was no guilty one. I mean, we've all had our moments of anger wishing they never broke up, but they did, so deal with it.

Ohgod Andy, I know excatly what you're talking about! If you ain't there for the music stay in the back. I don't even go to shows I don't wanna see so I'm always at the front and all the fakes are fucking annoying. I was at a gig a month ago and there were all these fangirls around me that kept pushing and pushing and screaming and not even for the band but for the support act that had been on an hour later, while the band was playing btw. I was like: WTF?! GO TO THE BAR. They didn't like me and I didn't care :laugh3:
