June 20, 200620 yr What was on the banner? It said "JONNY BUCKLAND: Lord Of The Guitar Strings" :nice: Here's a pic of us lot at 8am, on the IOW site...the photographer was like "wow, you guys are pretty hardcore" LOL and took some pics, he was nice.
June 20, 200620 yr ^ Yeah. When I went to the Keane gig last year, Rufus Wainwright performed before them and a guy wrote something like "I love Rufus" on a cooking apron and Rufus really liked it. He even took a picture of him and the guy with the cooking apron after the concert. It definitely draws the attention to you and makes them remember you!

June 20, 200620 yr Next time Coldplay comes to Mi (2 years? maybe ??) haha, Im going to get front row, Im considering opening a special savings account so I will have all the money I need for multiple front row tix, for multiple shows, anyhow, im going to make an assortment of banners. :D
June 20, 200620 yr LOL! I still dont get the whole US concert thing...you dont have standing, right? So how do you get to front row? Do you have to pay more for front row tix?
June 20, 200620 yr ^ Yeah I'll do the same thing, I can't wait to see them again!! It might sound weird but.. the two Coldplay gigs I went to have definitely been the best nights of my life. It's just - the moment I saw them for the first time, I felt the happiest I ever felt, it was just mind-blowing!
June 20, 200620 yr Same here! When I saw Jonny walk on stage the 1st night at Earls Court, it was totally surreal. He was stood just a few feet away from me...I was like "wow, so he's really real!" :stunned: lol..
June 20, 200620 yr how have you been so lucky in getting first row seats steph when you have seen them?
June 20, 200620 yr how have you been so lucky in getting first row seats steph when you have seen them? Not seated, standing. Got to Earls Court at 9.30am the first day, 10am the second, and waited all day to get to the very front. The second day I was the first one to arrive at Earls Court lol!!! Even then it's not guarenteed, people get so viscous once you get inside, so the whole day of waiting can be jeapordised by the cheeky fuckers who've only been waiting an hour but barge through etc. It's tough!
June 20, 200620 yr LOL! I still dont get the whole US concert thing...you dont have standing, right? So how do you get to front row? Do you have to pay more for front row tix? Yes, well floor you stand, but you have an assigned standing place, and like individual front row tix cost like I think somewhere around 80$, but somehow after buying a pair, the total is like 200$ ticket master has like a magical calculator that makes the cost double. haha. I bought a pair for sh*t seats for 90. and they were priced at 35 individually. It sucks, but next time, I will be prepared and save as much money as I need to have front row.
June 20, 200620 yr wow that sounds very tiring! lol....and yea like you said people can be very selfish and pushy..and nab the place i guess.bloody hell 9:30 up london though! i wouldnt make it  did you buy any merchandise when you went up these two concerts? i went to earls court for some other show in the day..and i got outside it and though to myself 'wow coldplay were here only a few months ago' then i was so jelous of people who had seen them there :laugh4:
June 20, 200620 yr ive only dreamed of front row tix... lol but next time around definetly.... one of the two shows i went to had realy good seats but they cost an arm and a leg. and it was kinda behidn the stage so we couldnt see the screen but when chris would walk over to teh side we got a perfect view.. also got to see his bum dance around which wasn't too bad!
June 20, 200620 yr Nope...I was so broke from buying the second ticket that I couldn't afford merchendise, lol! I was a bit gutted...I only bought a badge, but I treasure it! My mum felt sorry for me, lol, so a few months later she bought me the blanket and hoodie from the merchendise as a suprise when I passed my driving test. :nice:
June 20, 200620 yr :stunned: aww bless! but at least you got some later on....:nice: it just feels great to go to a concert and buy a few nice bits like that to go with the experience....and then you wear them endlessly after! lol
