This week's Goop is not that interesting, but I scrolled down below and looked at previous Goops--she has a list of party/groove songs recommended by various people--one is from Phil Harvey, who she calls "devastatingly handsome!" (does Chris mind?) Another is her own list, and she lists Strawberry Swing.

 Well I am married and speak of Martin's Hotness all the time and my Hubby doesn't mind..... It keeps them on their toes, and I'm sure Chris has a few women he verbally conveys as beautiful as well.. My hubby has the hot's for Jamie Lee Curtis, and is on his hall pass, as is Martin, Downey Jr. and Depp are on mine:D

My hubby was saying the other night how beautiful Charlize Theron was (only because I brought it up!), so yes, he knows how I feel about Chris. He has to see all four boys on the wall in the room where he gets dressed every morning!

OMG:lol: That is so cool.... My bonus room where we watch TV One whole wall is dedicated to Coldplay and the double bookcase has a shrine, with a Brit Flag and comic book, various videos, calenders, a couple of coffee mugs and ect... all of Coldplay, LOL Our hubbys put up with a lot:lol:

This hall pass conversation is hilarious because the hub and I have joked about this as well. He's very well aware of how I feel about Mr. Martin, and he was so impressed once with something he read about him that he said, "Okay, I'll have to give you a hall pass for Chris." LOL. He thinks Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway are hot. Tracey, I love your hall pass list....

'I should have worn a bra': Gwyneth Paltrow recalls her worst Oscar red carpet moments

By Cassie Carpenter

PUBLISHED: 18:00 EST, 28 February 2013 | UPDATED: 18:03 EST, 28 February 2013

She always looks effortlessly chic and sophisticated on the red carpet.

But Gwyneth Paltrow has confessed to having at least two face-palm fashion blunders at the Oscars on her GOOP blog this week.

The Oscar-winning 40-year-old, who skipped Sunday's ceremony, selected her worst-dressed years as 2000 and 2002, respectively.

The worst: Oscar-winning Gwyneth Paltrow wishes she'd worn a bra with this gothy Alexander McQueen gown in 2002 and called her 2000 silvery frock 'not Oscars material'

The best: The Royal Tenenbaums star credits stylist Elizabeth Saltzman for selecting her white Tom Ford Oscar gown and cape as well as her pink Prada dress at the Venice Film Festival

'The first is the Calvin Klein. It's an okay dress but not Oscars material. I chose it because I wanted to disappear that year,' the yoga-toned star said of the silvery cocktail dress.

'Also, the goth Alexander McQueen I wore a few years later. There were a few issues; I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less makeup.'

Gwyneth added: 'Then, it would have worked as I wanted it to - a little bit of punk at the Oscars.'

The Royal Tenenbaums star has since relied on the keen eye of her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, who's also styled shoots for American Vogue and Vanity Fair.

'I think they are all pretty maje. I can say this because I have just about nothing to do with it,' Paltrow said of her more recent red carpet attire.

'Standouts for me are the pink Prada dress at the 2011 Venice Film Festival, and of course the white Tom Ford from the Oscars last year.'

Fashion experts have since called the angelic column gown and cape incredibly influential on all the white and light-coloured frocks at this year's Oscars.

Among the Shakespeare in Love star's favourite trend-setting fashionistas are designer Stella McCartney, funnywoman Rashida Jones, pop star Beyonce, and leggy Cameron Diaz.

'Stella McCartney always looks amazing. She has a way of making you covet her sweatpants and T-shirt, she just wears clothes so well,' gushed Gwyneth.

'I love Rashida Jones' hot nerd vibe and Beyonce’s playfulness in trying different trends. I love Cameron Diaz's ability to rock silver nails and layer tons of tiny gold jewelry. I am also very inspired by street style in London where I have lived pretty much for 10 years.'

The blonde Emmy winner has two films due out this year - the Spanish Picasso biopic 33 días and the highly-anticipated action three-quel, Iron Man 3.

Gwyneth has been married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for a decade.

She and the 35-year-old Englishman have two children - eight-year-old daughter Apple and six-year-old son Moses.

New interview with Marie Claire UK

A tad weary after the exertions of awards season and fashion week, our day was perked up a treat with a dose of Hollywood glamour this morning when we headed to London’s Corinthia Hotel for an intimate press breakfast with Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Oscar-winning star hosted a meet-and-greet as part of her ongoing role as the face and ambassador of Hugo Boss’ (in her words) ‘mysterious’ and ‘sexy’ Boss Nuit Pour Femme fragrance.

With a room full of women listening on intently and Mother’s Day looming, (‘Oh gosh, it’s Mother’s Day this weekend?’ she gasped. ‘I have no idea [what I’m doing for it]. Maybe there’s a surprise planned!) talk turned to female empowerment and what it means to her.

The confident star mused: ‘I think knowing yourself, but truly. As opposed to the self your parents gave you or your partner or the school bully or whatever. I think so many people give us ideas of what we are. I think as women, especially, because we’re sensitive by nature, we’re more vulnerable, we absorb other people’s ideas about what we’re supposed to think or who we're supposed to be and how we’re supposed to act.’

She added: ‘I think the most clear, direct way to empowerment is to really know yourself and to really use your voice and to not be afraid of other people’s reactions. And to be really, really true to yourself. That to me has been key to me in understanding how I want to live the second half of my life. It’s only recently that I’ve really fully understood that.’

Looking as groomed and as glossy as you’d expect from one of Hollywood’s elite, and looking chic but relaxed in skinny leather trousers, a black sleeveless top and heels, Gwynnie revealed her surprisingly fuss-free beauty regime, which (in a nutshell) amounts to a ‘thick cream moisturiser’, ‘oil’ and staying 'healthy'.

‘Exercise is definitely key to my beauty regime and keeping me healthy,’ she said. ‘It really starts with exercise and sleep and not eating really processed foods, I try to eat well. My actual beauty regime is pretty simple. I try to have a facial every once in a while. I’m not a huge product girl and I have so much going on with kids and work that I don’t sort of do a whole thing. I put moisturiser on basically. I’m not good with doing my own make-up as well, so I tend to look like a wreck most of the time!’

We beg to differ. The actress, who turned 40 in September, looks better than ever, and was warm, open and funny during our meeting, and was happy to discuss a whole host of topics including her family – mini-me daughter Apple and son Moses – whom she’s often fiercely private about.

‘Gosh, I could take up the whole time talking about this so I’ll be specific,’ she says when questioned about what the best thing about being a mother is. ‘I think my favourite thing is understanding the responsibility of raising two human beings and putting them into the world and giving them the tools to understand the tenants that make life easier to navigate – compassion, intelligence, more than one language, empathy, manners. I really enjoy the process of doing that while being so fascinated by who they are and letting them emerge as human beings.’

Not only a beauty and health role model, Gwyneth is a style icon too. The self-confessed blazer and blue jeans girl (‘I couldn’t live without them!’) believes ‘knowing what works for you’ and being ‘comfortable’ are the key factors when it comes to looking good.

‘I think my days of trying out outrageous things are over,’ she says. ‘I’m not looking for trends, I just sort of want to be the best version of myself. I’m a creature of habit, and in that way I’ve tended to go towards what works for me and what’s comfortable. I grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and wore a uniform to school everyday, so like preppy is in my DNA. I think I’ve always had a sort of preppy/classic thing with an edge underneath it, and I think that’s how I would define my look.’

And is daughter Apple following in her mum’s footsteps when it comes to style? ‘I don’t know, my daughter definitely has her own style. The other day she was wearing really skinny jeans, a blazer and this punk headband on, and I was like ‘perfect!’ But I tend to stay out of it, she loves buying her own stuff and picking it all out. Last night we went to the Justin Bieber concert, she was very concerned with her outfit!’

As they say, the apple never falls far from the tree.

And another

Actress and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow has always been into scent; by the time she was 14 she was already addicted to Anais Anais, then graduated to Calyx and Coco Chanel, and still remembers her mother's scent, the fresh jasmine Quadrille by Balenciaga. Now she says, she "prefers something a little more complex," just like Boss Nuit, of which she is course the face.

Apart from a complete aversion to anything perfumed during both her pregnancies, when she says "I couldn't even stomach the smell of orange juice from across the room, let alone flowers or fragrance", Paltrow is big into perfume - as it seems is her daughter Apple, "who sprays herself head to toe, though I'm trying to teach her that less is more. Me, I just spray a little on my left arm, press it against my right arm, and then dab behind my ears."

"I believe in a wardrobe of perfumes though," explains Paltrow. "I probably have around 50 at home, some I just like for the bottle, some I wear all the time; but whatever I choose, it has to make me feel feminine."

Switching between day and night fragrances, Paltrow goes for Boss Nuit, which she describes as "feminine and alluring" by night, though she adds "that could be because of the branding - good job guys. But," she goes on, "I love the way it feels like a little bit of an extra something, rather than a perfume pouring off me."

As for the rest of her beauty regime, "well, exercise is key. And I try to get a lot of sleep and avoid processed food. I'm not great at doing my own make-up, and just stick to a really, really thick moisturiser, particularly when I'm flying, and I love face oils."

Paltrow also talks of her "golden time" between dropping her kids off and up from school and working on her website, Goop , where she tries to do something for herself, to bring her "back into the body. Whether it's having a facial, meditating or seeing an osteopath."

"When I turned 40 I realised how overwhelming it was to always give to other people, so I made a commitment to myself to do something every week which would help me check in and regroup. It's important, and stops emotions overtaking you."

"If I try to do too much, I find it really stressful. So I build a cushion around what I have to do, even if it's just five minutes to breath. I only recently understood how taking time for yourself is so important, even if it's a walk with my dog on the heath, reading something interesting after bed."

Paltrow may be one of the ones who knows her fashion and fragrance style, but she says if you really want confidence, "know yourself. It's the key ingredient to empowering yourself; know your voice and be really, really true to yourself. That's key to how I want to live the second half of my life."
