Gwyneth Paltrow: I've "Lost My Appetite" Over CMAs DebutUs Magazine

 

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagicUs Magazine Gwyneth Paltrow is something of a nervous wreck as she preps to make her live country music singing debut at Wednesday's Country Music Awards (CMAs) in Nashville.

 

Paltrow, 38, will croon "Country Strong," the title track from the upcoming flick of the same name in which she plays a down-at-heel singer striving for a post-rehab comeback.

"I actually feel better this week about singing the song on the awards show," the actress told Reuters Monday at the movie's Nashville premiere.

 

"I was really bad last week; I lost my appetite and I couldn't sleep," the married mother of two added.

 

Closer to the big night, she says "I feel prepared this week. If I can keep my nerves under control I can survive it."

In the film, her country hubby is played by Tim McGraw, whose real-life wife Faith Hill had high praise for Paltrow.

 

"[she] has so much respect for country music," Hill said Monday.

And watch out, Nashville: London dweller Paltrow, married to Brit rocker Chris Martin, wouldn't mind relocating to Tennessee. "I would love it," she claimed. "My dream is to have land somewhere outside of Nashville and have a big organic farm outside of the city."

Actually, in the latest InStyle Magazine - there's a feature on Chelsea Handler and she names Gwyneth Paltrow as one of her fashion icons.

And those shoes actually have a bar connecting the heel and sole:

 

 

but she did say to People.com that she was "in pain" and that she felt like she was in a "torture vice". Interestingly enough, Alber Elbaz (the designer of the shoes) had to scrap the shoes from production because even his own models had a hard time walking in them at the fashion show. Props to GP for making it look easy.

^ She must just be putting all her weight toward her toes and not even relying on the heel for support. Walking like a ballerina.

That's suprising, I remember when she poked fun of Gwyneth's Goop and called her a cross dresser! I'm glad to hear she's actually a fan, though! :D

I've never seen Chelsea trash talk Gwyneth and I've been watching her show since it premiered three years ago. Chelsea has always said how much she likes Gwyneth because she seems like she has it together. She also loves Coldplay a lot.
