Stepping out for a special occasion, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow were both on-hand at the official launch for Mayfair’s “The Arts Club” in London, England on Wednesday (October 5).

 

The “Bad Teacher” beauty and the “Shallow Hal” hottie teamed up for some pictures while enjoying a friendly chat with the party’s host, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

I'm pretty sure too, that those Paps are no where near that beach party, they have high powered lenses that they can be at a beach house or up on the dunes far away and shooting the pics.

Or so it was more a wicked smile but to say "I'll kill the paps"

When Chris was done with his musical obligations, he spent the rest of the show standing protectively behind Gwyneth, who ditched her sky-high heels for a portion of the night so she could dance. When it came time for them to leave, she had to lean on her hubby as she tried to get her shoes back on.

Gwyneth Paltrow grabbed the mic for a performance at last night’s grand opening of The Arts Club in Mayfair.

 

Paltrow took to the stage with Mark Ronson and The Knights Before, Amy Winehouse’s former band, to sing three songs in front of an audience including Cameron Diaz, Ozwald Boateng and Sir Peter Blake.

 

Among her selections were “Cruisin’” and “F*** You”—a song the actress first made her own during her guest-starring stint on Glee.

Never one to suffer stage fright, Paltrow nevertheless seemed a bit bashful to sing Cee Lo Green’s hit in front of some of the more dignified guests—specifically the Duke of Edinburgh. ‘Excuse the language in that song—don’t tell the Queen!’ she said after her performance.

Chris claims he's not the jealous type. Still one has to wonder how it feels to be abroad and have your wife's pictures in the papers and on the Internet. OTOH Chris had women drooling all over him just a couple of days ago in Brazil. What a life! I don't know how they do it. LOL

The Arts Club launch is more obligation than actually of her galavanting around at night - she is an investor and part of the membership committee - she also helped design the renovated space.
