Now you're talking! You seem to think it's ok to send an insulting and threatening PM to a poster you barely know as a result of a public discussion on a messageboard and you wanted it to remain unknown to others? In hindsight I should have just reported it but it seems like exposing you worked great.

Now that I know you're not interested in a civil discussion with me, I'm going to make use of the ignore function as soon as I have time. Done! That only took a second.

And the fact that you posted a private message, publicly in this thread made everyone lose any sympathy they might have had for you.

 I asked you to take it to the Private message a few times, but you want to show your hand publicly, which shows a lack of respect, grant you I have no respect for you either, but at least I didn't want to expose my thoughts and upset other people on this thread from my opinions about you..:(

If you re-read the PM I sent you, I never, NEVER..... Threatened you:stunned:

Your last line about CIVIL discussion and that I'm NOT interested in one with you, show's how you don't read very well, since I asked you several times to discuss in a PM, but YOU don't want any part of that, because YOU want to expose ME for being such a ****, well I am a **** then........

PUBLIC APOLOGY TO:Anyone who reads this, I Tracey feel as tho this certainly got well out of hand and it shouldn't have. I am so sorry for upsetting anyone.

Now on to what this thread is all about....:) I thought this was funny, she probably has had someone doing it for her since she started out in show business:)

She's an Academy award-winning actress who can belt out country songs, but don't expect Gwyneth Paltrow to do her own makeup.

"Believe it or not, I am terrible at doing my own makeup," the star, 39, confessed in Thursday's GOOP newsletter. "I'm decent at doing it for a friend, but when it comes to my own face, I never get it right."

okay ladies, it seems that you finished your talkings-writings whatever.. now see last week's goop :wink3: it is about make-up that i interested in :awesome:

I love multiquote posts. Otherwise the person would likely have made separate posts for every quote and that's what bothers me when it happens (and yes this does happen on the board). But okay, just to show it can be done another way (and more elaborate way for me), I will do it as follow:

I feel a bit an outsider regarding the fuss going on in this thread as I mostly just read it and hardly ever post in it, but I am such a b*tch to utter my opinion anyway :D

For one I have trouble with someone’s need to defend herself in cases where there’s no attack directed at her anyway. For example when Twisted mind said: “I feel uncomfortable reading this thread... seems like there are total creeps out there. Why is every acting like "OHMAGOD THERE ARE GWYNNIE AND CHRIS AND OMG" when they see them” coldplaymom replied with: “Yet Jonny and Chris showing affection to each other doesn't creep you? I enjoy either equally. The "Post The Pictures of Georgeous Chris Martin" thread use to make me uncomfortable, and the Buckin thread use to creep me.” which seems like she felt referred to by Twisted Mind’s post. Might be that I am wrong though, but I think not because later on she says “ Sorry if I misunderstood your post. Given my situation and background, the coupledom (Gwynnie & Chris) comes first. But I've come to understand those who focus on Chris alone (as a piece of meat) and those who enjoy the bromance between Chris and Jonny.” which also shows she still doesn’t understand Twisted Mind’s post. Why would it matter that the coupledom comes first and first in what? This thread? But the post wasn’t directly directed to posts in this thread. Twisted mind just said “ I'm talking about people seeing Coldplay in public, approaching them and act like total freaks.” Why the need then to come up with the bromance (unrelated though: I love coldplaymom for using this word!) and personal background to justify putting the coupledom first? Or is this unrelated to the first sentence? Btw, I still don’t understand people who focus on Chris alone as a piece of meat. :S Also, why would Jonny and Chris showing affection to each other creep Twisted Mind, if Twisted Mind feels uncomfortable about people frenzying over Chris and Gwyneth? Or what would it matter if Twisted Mind doesn’t?

No matter how it started out, this series of posts lead to the discussion of what this thread should be about and what people can/should post or not. Funny thing happens here when coldplaymom says “I see those who started this board and those who contributed from day one being very relaxed and kind. Yet those who joined a couple of years ago are hell bent on telling newbies how they should post.” after having said just 4 hours ago to Lory “There's really no need to post links like these here. ” Now, I do agree with coldplaymom that I rather do not see links like that in this thread. :uhoh: I guess I just made myself into one of these people mentioned by her who need to tell others how they should post? Anyway, Tash says “Nobody is telling you how you should post.” and I agree: I don’t see any recent posts doing that. Feel free to correct me if any of such posts slipped my attention.

Now on to the discussion of what this thread is/should be about. This has been discussed already many times in this thread, it just keeps on coming up again. Everyone can just say what they want, true and this is what makes it so hard to say what this thread should be about. Maybe instead of trying to find a correct use of this thread and trying to justify this, we should just accept that it has become the monster it is?

Coldplaymom’s “ Chris is the reason why there's a Gwynnie thread here. I absolutely don't care about the gossip though ” seems an argument to defend why this thread should also be about Chris, or at least about Chris in relation to Gwyneth. Is it?

Coldplaymom, like others I question if you really don’t care about the gossip. But this might be a misunderstanding caused by different views of what gossip is. Like MartinFan and Tash say, you come up with articles that to me seem gossip. Might have to do with my better judgement, which seems to work differently. :S

Now you're talking! Uhm, I fail to see how exposing her turned out to work out great. I also think that it’s okay to wish a PM remains out of the public even though the PM might have been insulting and threatening (leaving it in the middle whether it actually was). There’s moderators for that stuff and ignore buttons. Austengirl is partially right you know? Most people lose sympathy for people who think it’s okay to just post PM’s in public like that. Instead of it working out great, I think it might have had the opposite effect.

:escaping3:

Is this why we see pics of her so many times without any makeup?

Is this why we see pics of her so many times without any makeup?

probably :thinking::thinking:

Is this why we see pics of her so many times without any makeup?

Most likely, she is beautiful with or without make-up, one of those lucky women:)

Yeah, I don't take the trash out without makeup on!

I wonder why people are careful of the fakes grossips and blogs. I put a link to Madonna people know it's a friend of Gwyneth Paltrow. and I just wanted to show how far the bullshit of grossips.

and is a thread of fans and celebrities not even interested what the fans say . we are here to listen to their musics see their movies and buy their material .

I do not know why fans made war for the celebities. the fans not know the celebrities. and celebrities not know the fans.

for example if I start talking to friends in my life but it's rare about this couple, and friends started telling me

- you are fanatic of this couple you do make movies to compensate for the lonelyness of your life.

I m bored fan is a fact but I never love to live in their world is what I do not like the superficiality of showbiz the glory, money , because away from love and all.

makes poor people in their hearts. glory is more a matter of selfishness in society.

So anyway I like the movies of Gwyneth Paltrow, I even cried.

and I'm a fan of Coldplay since 2000, is not programmed to music but like many instruments that go to the heart and I love the voice of Chris Martin because he loves singing, have a voice sincere and emotional tons .

So I do not know the personality of the character of the celebrities to start insulting people. because they do not agree with me. because they are right or I'm right. because any response.

Only to judge when they say things on TV about their own family.

and I'm sorry about this but Gwyneth Paltrow is one the subject thread Coldplay because Chris Martin has written songs for her and sing. I even remember that Chris said in concert.

I love your avatar! wow! Where did you find this?

Thx. Isn't that the cutest? I'm too lazy to take off the watermark.

I was looking for the Chris Matthews interview about the new John Kennedy book he's written, then I started going through other interviews and bam!

lol a little English band more beside U2 band

I always kind of giggle at the "for men" sections of her holiday gift guides because I don't think Chris would be caught dead wearing a £40 eye mask, or carrying a $200 iPad case, even if he is technically a "travelling businessman".

I wonder what Gwyneth gets him for Christmas...maybe the one new t-shirt we see him in every year :P
