I always kind of giggle at the "for men" sections of her holiday gift guides because I don't think Chris would be caught dead wearing a £40 eye mask, or carrying a $200 iPad case, even if he is technically a "travelling businessman" :lol:.

Gwyneth Paltrow hits the red carpet at the 2011 Bambi Awards on Thursday (November 10) at the Rhein-Main-Hallen in Wiesbaden, Germany.

 

The 39-year-old actress sparkled in an emerald green plunge-neck sequin gown with cap sleeves and a slim belt by Elie Saab.

 

“Believe it or not, I am terrible at doing my own makeup. I’m decent at doing it for a friend, but when it comes to my own face, I never get it right,” Gwyneth recently wrote in her Goop newsletter.

 

“I have been wanting a step by step lesson for ages so I asked my London makeup artist, Emma Lovell, to show me how,” she added, along with a step by step tutorial and pics.

I can't cook to save my life, so I decided to take it easy and start with the kale chips. It actually turned out great and the family loved it. So I got a little bolder and tried the vegan paella which also turned out alright according to my husband. Next step is going to be 1 of the lasagna recipes. I'm still getting all my ingredients together.

I also came across Jessica Seinfeld's youtube doitdelicious channel. Her recipes are very simple as well. For the holidays, I'll just take my laptop in the kitchen and try some of these simple recipes and see how they turn out.

Good for you. I learned to cook from watching Food Network and reading cookbooks. Now I'm a great cook. Hubbies like a nice, hot dinner, for sure!
