You know what, I guess they'll do the same they did after Apple's birth - they LET people take pictures of the baby, so they don't get followed by the paparazzi that much. I think that's a good strategy - giving the photographers what they want, then they'll let them be, at least there won't be a fight over the first pic of the baby, you know? So let's wait for another pic that looks like this:

 

 

I truly hope not. I'm sure the baby is supercute and I'll probablly go: aww. if I see pictures but it's not my thing to look for paparazzi-pics cause it's wrong. And when you see how Chris hate it it makes it even worse so no thankyou.

We were not talking about paparazzi pictures.

For me all photos that aren't from photoshoots, liveshows or awardshows are paparazzipics.

To me, the difference makes, whether pictures are taken with or without the permission of the person being photographed.

 

I never look at paparazzi pictures either, there's almost nothing I despise more. I don't understand how people can enjoy looking at paparazzi pics of people they actually "love" (a fan's love, I mean). Such a double moral standard, to me.

Oh come on, we were NOT talking about paparazzi pics! Did you read my post?? It said they tried to ESCAPE from paparazzi pics and let journalists take pictures!! That means they're NOT paparazzi pics, because Gwyneth and Chris came in front of the camera THEMSELVES and showed their lovely little girl to the world!

 

I can understand the point of all of those who are totally against paparazzis and everything, I truly do, but screaming out without actually READING my (and Ladybug's) posts, is stupid..

It was basically about the fact that paparazzi always have a huge competition about who takes the first photo of the baby - because this photo is worth an AMAZING amount of money! And by going in front of the cameras themselves, they prevent such a competition to happen. It's crazy what happens with Jennifer Garner's baby now, for example - there hasn't been an official photo or at least a paparazzi pic yet, and that's why the paparazzi go crazy and try to take the first pic which is probably enough to live from the rest of their lives..

 

You know, some celebrities let one magazine take the first pic and sell it for a huge amount of money, like Britney Spears did recently. And some do (in my opinion) the right thing and let several photographers take pics, so it can be done the way the couple wants it!

hmmm i guess of course they cant hide him forever....whether they decide to let someone take a picture or some paparazzi find them somewhere soon....he will still be seen i guess...

yah. hopefully they dont try to evade the press because that only makes it worse i feel. but i hate the idea of having to publish pics officially like catherine zeta jones and britney spears did... it just feels wrong. like youre selling your baby lol

yes oh i agree...like when they sell pictures of their new born baby to a glossy magazine like ok magazine.....(uk magazine) its just silly,they get paid huge amounts to sign an exclusive deal with only them

yah. its like you can see both sides of the situation and still see why it would be better to do that instead of being hunted.... but the situation itself is just messed up. but i guess there is nothing that you can do about it. fight or compromise

People like Catherine Zeta-Jones and Britney Spears SOLD the pictures to ONE magazine - but Chris and Gwyn just came out with Apple and let several journalists take pictures without taking money (as far as I know) - I guess that's a good middle solution, right?

well there was an article in the ny times about how gwyneth really had her own photographer, which is why there was only one main pic that got circulated. the article specifically talks about this situation and talked about how gywn set it up and how other celebs have done this too. so it looks like it was spontaneous and that they were cooperating with the pap but really they paid them to get an "official" shot (even though it wasn't in a photo shoot environment)

hmm i dont really mind that becuase they done it do they would not get hunted about apple i guess.and it wasent all 'false' in a photography environment as u said amanda like smiling broadly at the camera for a magazine....

yah... the paps are gonna try to hunt them anyways might as well do an official one and get it over with.... hiding only intensifies the scrutiny i feel

exactly!! they are only going to be more stressed as people hunt them down whenever they step out the door for a stroll with the newborn....i mean i know us fans well maybe not everyone but i would like to see it,not if it intrudes their privacy to a point it annoys them though.but i would just like to see him out of interest really u know,its just natural....as my mum said yesterday looking in the paper 'you'd think they were the only people to have a baby!' :laugh4: it is true though they get fuss about them,
