"It's a Boy for Gwyneth!

APPLE MARTIN has a baby brother, ET confirmed today. Superstar parents GWYNETH PALTROW and CHRIS MARTIN welcomed their second child over the weekend.

 

After months of speculation about her blossoming figure, Gwyneth revealed her pregnancy in January at a Screen Actors Guild showing of 'Proof' in Beverly Hills.

 

During an interview session following the screening, LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS announced Paltrow as a "pregnant woman," then asked her how far along she was. A smiling Gwyneth replied, "Far enough along to feel very cumbersome."

 

When an audience member asked how she got her hair so shiny, the Oscar winner answered, "It must be the prenatal vitamins ... I've been taking them for a few years."

 

This is the second child for Gwyneth and her COLDPLAY hubby. Apple turns 2 years old in May."

I honestly was very surprised to see that story, and I hope ET has accurate information. But, it it wonderful news indeed if it is true. I hope the baby and mom are well. And, WOW, talk about arriving just after Dad's US tour was finished!!!

Ah, I just read (here) that Gwyn had a C-section, so I guess they planned it that way. I felt that was too much of a coinc! :lol: So excited for them! I hope the name is semi normal.. :dead: :laugh4:

Another wow, a planned c-section! This seems to be developing news, so I guess congratulations and best wishes can be sent to the Martin-Paltrow family! Now we wait to find out the name.......

I had read a longgg time ago that she had planned to have a water birth with help of a midwife (an alternative to the 'traditional' hospital birth). Guess she ended up not doing that.

in the course of research over the last few months, I've been browsing round sites like celebritybaby.com, and somewhere on one of the them I read an interesting snippet. apparently, celebs have a tendency to add a few weeks onto their due date so that the paparazzi aren't sniffing around on their actual due date. don't blame them really!

i read this just a minute ago on the main site and wow i was not expecting this! but i guess c-section would mean that obviously it was planned obviously why they were waiting till after the tour was finished so he could see it awww

i cant wait till we hear the name...plus awww a boy and a girl..how perfect
