I don't know why, but when I listen to the LIVE 2003 version of Everything's not lost, I get incredibly touched and I tend to cry, especially in the last minutes of the song.Course this don't happen to me all the time, just some times, you know...

yellow for me. ill cry buckets if im in the right mod, especially late at night alone in my room. ive been going to the same very small school all my life with more or less the same people for 12 years now, so it basically IS my family. our grade has the best relationship in the world, so i basically have 39 brothers and sisters. we're all going to graduate next year, and its getting closer and closer. i SOB at this song, because chris said its about love like devotion/friendship love, not romantic love, and thats EXACTLY how i feel about everyone in my grade. this is my second-fave song ever written.

Yellow is a to ahppy song for me to cry to and politik isn't a crying song for me either ( even do they're both amazing songs). I love the Gravity live version, :heart: :smug2: It's so beutiful. I just feel like that song just explains live and love. Don't know why, it's just the way I feel. And yes Chris voice is just wonderful in that song, everything is beutiful in that song. ;) I also have been close to tears to See you soon (I was thinking about my best friend that recently moved to south africa) and Life is for living (live 2003 on both of them).

i always cry when i watch the live 2003 dvd ...

especially (as you already mentioned) because of see you soon, everything's not lost, trouble and life is for living (the live version is just ... amazing)

 

but also .. fix you, warning sign, politik, solid ground, arobtth, the scientist make me cry (just to name a few)

I haven't actually cried when listening to a Coldplay song but Warning Sign put me in a state of mild depression a few months back and really made me think about things. Luckily I am better now! It is great that a medium like music can make you feel such extremes of emotion.

Warning Sign has kinda touched a nerve recently, and I THINK I may have cried a bit, but that was more at my situation rather than the song.

trouble.....that song seems very menancholic to me. it doesn't exaclty make me cry but it could when i am totally miserable and greatful about nothing.

 

i love it extremely! i love the guitar and bass lines a lot! especially the bass. and when chris goes.."oh no...what's this?" my heart just aches *sigh*

For you - it's a song that I listen in the special moments, when I feel low, depressed or I'm worried about something... I listen to it and then I feel more calm, just after crying and crying. gosh, that's pretty sad! :cry:

 

Politik - I would have never thought that I'd cry with this song, but I did it in the Coldplay gig that I went to the last year. I think it was 'cause of the emotion of the moment.

 

Gravity - this song is really precious, great lyrics and melody. It made me cry, as well, it's a deep song.

I love "Life is for Living" on the Live 2003 DVD, especially when it goes into "and in the end...." It's happy tears, though.
