  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

He just said sweden (Or Stockholm. Can't remember :uhoh:) instead of North Carolina

sooo...

today was my first day of high school and it was awesome because we had to watch this little video they made and in it one of the teachers was wearing the blue Viva la Vida shirt and i gasped SO LOUD. people were turning around and looking at me like, :inquistive:, but i didn't care. :smug: anddd i found out that i have him next semester and i'm so excited!

then after school i was waiting at carpool with my friend and i saw a guy standing against the wall alone wearing a VLV tour t-shirt and i was like, "oh my gosh! can we go be his friend please?!" so we went over and talked to him. his name is eric and i'm gonna be his friend. :) haha there's nothing better than spreading the coldplay love! :wacky::heart:

oh but before i talked to eric i saw a different guy wearing the same shirt and i was like, "i love your shirt!" and he was like, and then turned to his friends and was like, "stupid freshman bitches." :veryangry2: he was not a very friendly coldplay fan. :( but eric was! :D

Yesterday I was in some huge building of Montreal's down town and I heard Talk followed by Viva La Vida right away! I was smiling like an idiot :D

BUT happy

So...the other day, I heard Politik on the radio, and after it played, I switched stations and heard Talk playing. Five minutes later, I switched stations again, and Violet Hill was playing! Needless to say, it made my day! haha...that rhymed.

They rarely (or never!) play those songs on the radio...imagine how excited I was! :D

Anyway...yes, I switch stations a lot, but I was rewarded this time :P

I love when that happens

i switch stations all the time... but only because i have really bad luck when it comes to radio.

it seems like there's always advertisements playing, or horrible music. :disappointed:

Stick to it...and one day, your efforts shall be rewarded! :D

Hmm...I have never heard Politik on the radio. Only the singles. I hope my local station picks up Strawberry Swing soon, but at least they still play LITii every hour or so. :D (seriously, every time I turn on the station, it's playing)

It's a great station that also plays a lot of U2 and Snow Patrol, but I'll switch during a commercial or the occasional really bad song.

Damn! What station do you listen to?! *crosses fingers that she lives in socal*

I rarely hear Coldplay on the radio (maybe because I don't listen that often), but yes, I was very surprised to hear Politik. He did mention that it was a relatively "unknown" song of theirs before he played it...15 minutes later. I kept switching back to that station every two minutes or so to make sure I didn't miss what song he was talking about. haha.

KRUZ 97.5

It's out of Santa Barbara but you can get good reception down through like Woodland Hills. They play mainly Viva-era songs, though once in a blue moon I'll hear Yellow or Clocks.

Mmm...No, I'm much further south. :(

Ah, too bad.

You in the San Diego area? (wild guess due to the tour date in your sig)

LUCKY! I had my first day of high school last week and we were only out of uniform for the first 2 days and my VLV shirt happened to be in the laundry. :( I have met no other CP fans, and the girls at my lunch table were making fun of Chris Martin. :( I got to an all-girls private school. Yay....

Ah, too bad.

Yes, down where the smog doesn't flow. :D

^I feel for you! I didn't even know there were all-girls private schools in the States. Shows you how much I know. haha
