Last night, I was at my friend Jon's house and we were listening to music. He's never listened to Coldplay, but he LOVES 70s concept album. I asked him to play Moving To Mars and after that he was HOOKED!!!! YAY for a 50 year old guy falling in love with Coldplay!! :D :D :D

Yay for Coldplay advertising! :dance: I've managed to get my brother, sister, and mother to appreciate Coldplay . . . for some odd reason the only Coldplay song my dad likes is Life in Technicolor II because he thinks it sounds like U2--I guess other Coldplay songs don't? :thinking:

I had my parents watch their Glasto performance with me on Saturday and they both enjoyed it, especially my dad. Although he already really likes Coldplay :)

Watching Glasto 2011. It's amazing.

 

During "In My Place," I squee'd loudly when Chris said 'This is Jonny Buckland. He's our guitarist. He's my best friend and he wrote this song!' And then, during "Major Minus" Chris said 'Jonny is a pimp during this song... here he comes! Here he comes! Here... he... COMES!' and then GUITAR SOLO!!!!!

 

The Buckin Love in this concert astounds me. I swear, Chrissy and Jonny are having an affair backstage. :dazzled: :chris::jonny:

 

Also, my mom is slightly scared of me now because of how flaily and fangirly I get while watching Coldplay.

 

EDIT: And during "The Scientist" Chris is totally singing to Jonny at one point!

ASDFJKL That's a lot of paint. Also, loving the stop-motion photography used throughout – makes me think of the music videos for "The Scientist" and "Lovers In Japan" for some reason. It's so pretty. And I'm madly in love with the room with the flickering strobe light and black light paint – but I'm also slightly scared that Weeping Angels would have a FIELD DAY in that room....

God, I love that dude that whistle just after that Chris sang ''Oh way over on the rooftops let's get married. ''
