  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

:) I will do it.. although the cake was supposed to be a surprise birthday treat for my son.. so now I have to try to get two cakes to the gig, on the train, plus a reasonably sized sign.. without him noticing! LOL! haha.. (although he IS a boy and therefore not exactly known for his skills in that department!).

LMAO, oh, dear. Good luck.

Maybe, like, double/triple-bag the cakes (if you're putting them in a clear plastic sack or something, so that it's harder for him to see through the sack), and if he or anyone on the train asks, make up some story about some sort of luggage or concert-related thing you're bringing along or whatever? I dunno.

The cake is a nice idea for your son, too :). I bet he'll like that.

I follow Dan Green on Twitter but I don't know if it's the real. But he is follow by Jason Regler and he follow the false '?' twitter of Jonny and Guy. And he talk with them.

They might be rp accounts like people have on FB. I've never seen that on Twitter, but you never know. Fakes interact with fakes like a game. People do it with X Files, Criminal Minds, Star Trek...anything. I don't get it, but it doesn't bother me til it's real people being impersonated.

That's true.. I follow 'The Queen of England' on Twitter, and I KNOW it's not really her! LOL.. Unless.. :laugh3:

Wow CONGRATULATIONS on passing your test! That's awesome! Well done..:D And yeah, maybe the band should remain ignorant of our cake thing... probably.... unless...

^ this happens! In which case I probably wouldn't need to explain anything. Which is lucky because I'd be on the floor out cold! LOL..

Thanks! :nice: Right :laugh3:

Erm.. I've just explained CAKE to my husband.. ! LOL.. he gets it and says we should do it! LOL! He says whats the worst that could happen? We get to eat two cakes! ROFL!

Your husband is awesome! :awesome:

Awesome !!!! :D

Oh that's just so cool. And CONGRATS to you !!!

That's just an incredible anecdote :D

Hahaha!!! Great, you really should do it :awesome: your husband's right :D

Thank you! :D

Echoing the congrats on the driving test, Dany! Very cool-leave it to Coldplay to "be there" in such a instance like that, huh :D?

Thanks! Yeah, it was so satisfying :awesome:

LOL poor boy! But yeah, as Wintergreen (don't know your name :P) said you may use a few bags, you must just be careful they don't get squashed  And about the banner... If you use very thin cardboard, you can simply fold it and put it inside your bag... And once you get to the concert, you could attach a stick on each side of it and hold it that way, or... I don't know, you could stick it somewhere :P

This morning I was trying hard to fall asleep after I'd woken up for no reason, and then suddenly I heard Paradise coming from the tv in the kitchen :awesome:

Wow. People will make accounts for anything anymore, won't they?

I'm not sure whether to laugh at that or do this: .

Thanks! Yeah, it was so satisfying :awesome:

I'd bet!

(My name's Angela, by the way :))

Nice! It's kinda spooky when that happens, isn't it, when you wake up either to a song by a band you like or they play shortly thereafter? Spooky in a good way, of course, but still...

Yes. :charming:

:D

If Angie's leg can have its own Twitter account..

Chris' arms deserve one too! :laugh3:

I like your way of thinking .

I like your way of thinking .

I'm not creating one though.

But if someone dares to do so, I will follow it!

The rest of my followers would think I've gone mad. But whatever..

LOL. Hey, it's the Internet, believe me, that's not the weirdest thing one would stumble across out there in the web universe .

I don't have a Twitter account, so no go on my end, either. But I'm interested to see if anyone actually does go through with the idea.

(Most everything of 9gag is stolen from Reddit.)

Coldplay is doing the smartest thing they have done since last June -- releasing UWTB/UFO on vinyl.

^^^ :awesome:

I'd bet!

Hi Angela *waves* :D Yeah, it's like some kind of...Inconscious presentiment inside you wakes you up :blank: Spooky but... Nice :nice:

That's a great idea about the banner... thank you.. :D Oh god.. Imagine if they did actually have the cake! :stunned: :laugh3:

I made one for Michael Bublé once:lol: Just buy thin cardboard, it's easy to fold and put it in a bag! I really hope it works out, with the cake and all:D

LOL :laugh3: Also imagine if Debs was there, saw them eating the cake and thought: "Uhm, this reminds me of a question I received recently... :inquisitive:"

:awesome:

I like that sign :laugh3:! Did it catch Michael's eye?

If Coldplay actually has that cake, that will be just fantastic .

Hello! *Waves back*

Yeah. Some weird mind trick or proof that the band's THAT deeply embedded in your thoughts.

It's a great way to wake up! Easier to get a bit more motivated for whatever's going on that day if your favorite music is playing.
