Today I was chatting with a classmate who is a fan of Katy Perry and she was very excited because she's going to see her soon (Katy Perry is invited to Le Grand Journal, a French talkshow, and the girl I'm talking about will be in the audience). She was soo excited, I could see it in her eyes, feel it in her voice. And I thought: "Oooh! So that's how I must be like when I talk about Coldplay! :surprised: " and then I told her: "You remind me of me and Coldplay. So cute :wacky: "

I'm really frustrated. I know someone who just got tickets to the Xcel show right by the stage. And for half the price! I got mine on the first day and I'm towards the back! :/ Oh well, I won't care when I get there. :)

This morning I was watching TV, zapping as always, and I landed on MTV Pulse, and it was the "Rock sex-symbols" top (though there was no rank at all :thinking: ) and so I thought: OMG Chris is gotta be on this :dazzled: (or I will call MTV's French office and yell at them), but it had started for 5 minutes already, so I thought, maybe they already showed Chris :\ But I kept watching, and right ater Bon Jovi (:facepalm: ), here he was, in The Scientist video :awesome: (to the voice-over guy: he wasn't one of Peta's sexiest vegetarians of 2005, he was THE sexiest vegetarian of 2005 :whip: )

 

And then when this show was over, the regular Hits Pulse thing started and the first clip was Paradise :awesome:

Very cool. Somebody there has good taste :D.

 

I wish neat stuff like that would show up on our music channels.

It was weird! And I thought: "Oh, so now I understand why people look at me like I'm a weirdo when I talk about Coldplay!" :lol:

But I feel that as a fan, I understand what another fan has to go through, even though they're not a Coldplay fan :wacky:

I sometimes wonder if other bands' fans have their equivalents of LOLdplay, Coldception, do they have B-sides and collect them, do they keep an extensive amount of live versions of a song and everything else Coldplayers do :surprised:

I know Muse do at least. I don't know about any other bands with such a dedicated fan base though.

I don't know about those, but I think fans like to imagine bromances in many bands...
