Well yeah, I mean it's good and all, I wasn't saying it's bad. It's just...you know how some people say his voice is kind of "whiny"? He's just kind of nasally sometimes, and Stipe has such a throaty voice...so when Chris sings it just kind of brings out their vocal differences more.

That's kinda true. Love the collaboration but compared to Stipe, u can tell the difference. Still love Chris' voice though :D

My MP3 player, which I thought was broken finally turned on a few hours ago, and after listening only sparingly to a few coldplay songs over the past month or so, replacing them with tons of u2, sigur ros, and the killers...I felt a craving to play along to all of X&Y, and am now most of the way through AROBTTH. The feeling is just indescribable, I'm absolutely love everything I hear, a spiritually nostalgic musical experience. It's times like these that destroy any thoughts that coldplay might not be my favorite band anymore.

so yesterday my friend and i were at her house watching mtv at like, 3 in the morning. shes about to fall asleep, so i start to turn off the the TV and SPEED OF SOUND COMES ON. it was seriously magical. so i tried to wake my friend up to watch but she just glared at me and rolled over:lol: ive never really liked the speed of sound music video, but it was really awesome seeing it on a big TV, in the dark. i might have sang along a bit:D:heart:

i love coldplay!..i thought about marisa today because i heard about the new shows!

They must be loving this tour though, otherwise they wouldn't have added a whole additional summer full of concerts, right? It's not like they need the money. :D I imagine it's a labor of love.

i think they really just love touring! i mean i think most of us forget that it is their profession/job..i know i do..but still they love it!

Chris said something like "we have the best fucking fans in the world" in the Postcards video. Maybe the feeling is mutual. Which gives me warm fuzzies. :D

Im kinda distubed cause of the tour extra dates they annouced today cause they are going to some places they have already been to in this tour instead of going to Mexico and all those places over there!

Also, there's this local music channel that has half hour profiles of a musician or band. And they replay them pretty often... cause there's only so many episodes. I've seen the Coldplay one at least like 7 times over than last 8 or so months. I already watched it at 3 today... but I plan to watch it again at midnight. That's a bit much, no?

i met my friend's new boyfriend last night... and he said chris martin sounds like a frog. :veryangry2:

 

so i basically started arguing with him while my friend was kicking me under the table. i went "can you sing like that? i dont think many people can sing as fantastic as him so please, i'm a very big coldplay fan and if you trash them again i'm gonna have to kick your ass."

 

so now i'm trying to get her to break up with him. i keep saying "I DON'T ACCEPT. HE'S NOT A COLDPLAY FAN." and she keeps saying "YOU'RE CRAZY."
