Story time!

 

1) I was talking to my acting teacher yesterday, and he mentioned something about his cousin's birthday being on Monday. And I was telling myself "don't say it Zoe, don't say it..." but I finally exclaimed "AWESOME, your cousin has the same birthday as Chris Martin!!!!!!" :P

 

2) I was just walking with my friend, and up the road a bit was a double-parked car with a woman sitting in it. As we got closer, we heard that she was blasting Viva la Vida!! So I did a little skip and turned to my friend (who hates Coldplay) with this huge grin, and she was like "calm down Zoe". :rolleyes: :laugh3: But it was really exciting!

I said my father there will be 3 important events next week: my sister's birthday, my friend's birthday and... Chris' birthday :) Then he said I was obsessed... ME ???? :D

i relate everything this week around chris's birthday.

 

my sister called me and was like, "do you know what sunday is?"

 

and i was like... "THE DAY BEFORE CHRIS'S BIRTHDAY?!"

:lol: It's nice when you can relate things to Coldplay, and that happens very often. I also spent the last week randomly saying to my friends when they mention Monday, "Do you now what's on Monday?", "Can't wait for Monday!", "Monday is a very special day!", "Only 4 days left!!!", "It's Chris' birthday on Monday!!! Do you hear me?!" and stuff like that :D

 

Today I saw a bus that had "MARTIN" printed on the front and on the side. :)

and i know whatcha mean! my friends get so annoyed. they just don't understand. :dozey:.

Yes, they totally don't get it. Some of them start leaving when I begin my Monday-talk... :dozey:

Wooooo, I was inspired by all the concerts lately, and decided to simulate one of my own tonight. Sooo I put on the Live 2003 Concert DVD, hung all my Lovers in Japan butterflies from the ceiling, and set up some strobe lights in my living room. Then I put on my Coldplay shirt and madly danced and sang to the whole thing, it was fantastically brilliant. :D :D :D

Woohoo! I just came back from an Open Mic Night at my school, and when I was standing outside the room I suddenly heard VLV! So I sprinted back in and I was like "COLDPLAYYYYY!!!", and everyone said "we put it on the playlist just for you!" and they were dancing & singing with me :) It was AWESOME. :wacky:

 

And then I looked over and my dad was trying to impersonate Chris' dancing... in front of all my teachers... and then pointed at me and said "just so you know, THAT'S my daughter" just to embarrass me. :uhoh: All of my teachers were laughing so hard :P

THAT'S SO AWESOME THEY PLAYED IT FOR YOU!!:D

I should get a bunch of yellow balloons and try the same thing with Yellow! (couldn't do it with Lovers, seeing as how we were too stupid to throw as many paper butterflies in our bags as we could at the end of the last concert)

 

BTW, speaking of LIJ, I'm relatively drunk right now and decided to turn on the music video just for thrills and laughs. Considering how actual reality is spinning to me now, it was the first time watching that I didn't get dizzy. :laugh3:

i just realized how much i miss coldplay's concerts.

I relate everything to Chris birthday too :D But I can't say that to my family because my sister's birthday is the 4th, she would think that Chris is more important than she ;) And for my friends I think that's already enough, I can't show them more how I'm obsessed with Coldplay and Chris... Woah! I was just watching PBS and they had a promo asking for memberships and it was set to "The World Turned Upside Down!" It was a really long spot and they used most of the song, and showed clips from various programming that fit the lyrics... like dancers spinning during "365 degrees" and a coast guard members rescuing people in a flooded city during "A little boy lost in a breaking storm."

 

Has anyone else seen the spot? I can't find it on youtube or on pbs's site.

last night at stage crew this kid evan, who came to the coldplay concert with me and a couple other people, has his headphones around his neck and was listening to the scientist!!!!! all of the sudden i was like "OH MY GOD! HE'S LISTENING TO THE SCIENTIST!!" i started freaking out :laugh3: and then we were walking somewhere and i was like i have to walk next to him so i can hear coldplay!:lol:

^nah. he knows me. and we all had to walk somewhere together. he might have been a little creeped out about how i kept screaming the scientist!! omg! he's listening to the scientist! :lol:

Today at my soccer game... there were two girls like practically on top of me wherever I went.. (really annoying).. And my coach was like "It's like you've got two shadows!" And I immediately thought of White Shadows... which is pretty random and stupid.. but I dunno.

 

 

Also.. I was just watching a video clip from a new player my favorite hockey team picked up... Ossi Vaananen (nice name) and when he was talking he say "hard to analyze.. you know?" And the way he said "you know" reminded me or the way Chris says "you know" and he even made that little scrunched up face Chris makes.. So I automatically like him more than I already did.

So after watching a CP concert or a Chris interview or something, everything I think in my head is in a British accent. I dunno if that sounds crazy? But it is. And I feel like I'm gonna talk in a British accent but I obviously don't.

 

It's pretty odd. It's like my thoughts are English.

It's natural mind melding, that's all!;) Same effect if you see a movie, and really get into it. But it goes away, generally speaking, unless you're immersed in the culture.

And it does go away. Except if I'm planning out what I'm going to say in my head for like a speech or something. Then it's often still British. And this started with Chris Martin.
