someone else may have already posted this, but my brother is a huge hockey fan and a huge coldplay fan, and he showed me this today, which was the introduction thingy they showed on TV before the start of the playoff games :D

oh the other day there was a karaoke session at my uni..and i chose clocks as my song..

i was afraid that people might be a bit negative since it's, well, a coldplay song...:dozey:

I was at a Snow Patrol concert recently and we had to wait for about half an hour between the second support act and the band themselves. So everyone was a bit annoyed - the support acts weren't that great - and I was a bit bored and just moved a bit in the beat of a song playing in the meanwhile and suddenly I heard the first tones of Glass Of Water and danced like crazy. :dance: My friend tryed to talk to me several times, but all I did was singing and the lyrics weren't such good answers. :rolleyes: She kept trying untill I said during the piano solo 'Wait untill this song is over, I can't talk now!' and she said 'Is it Coldplay or what?'. :lol:

4 days. I'm running out of time to make a shirt! :S

For an english assignment we have to write a series of poems on anything we want, I wrote one about the COldplay COncert I went to...(keep in mind poetry isn't my thing but I tried...:P)

 

Viva la Coldplay

(Some lines derived from Coldplay Song Lyrics/Titles)

 

I go to the stadium to find that I am not alone.

I wait in the long line to get inside,

Just to find that the show has been postponed.

 

The storms begins to unleash its awesome might,

The show possibly being canceled was a real fright.

Then the heavens opened and the sun shined,

The show indeed will be held tonight.

 

I venture around the venue, it so full of life,

My seat is better than I could ever expect.

The opening band comes very deprived,

Of their allotted time, but not their respect.

 

Now the anxious waiting begins,

As music is playing, but not the band’s.

The lights go out, there are many grins,

As the band comes on, roars come from the stands.

 

Their music tight, their lights are great,

Chris’s falsetto is superior tonight.
