May 26, 200917 yr ^ your sister is an idiot! On Saturday night we went clubbing and I was most surprised to hear a remix of Viva being played in the club - the crowd was going crazy and obviously I was going ballistic, and then at the end of the evening when hardly anyone was left (5am) I asked the DJ to play it again, but it was a different DJ, who sadly didn't have it, but he said that he will see what he can do and next thing an awesome remix of Clocks blasted out of the speakers!! Well I went berserk again! Then to top it all off there was a guy there who looked EXACTLY like Chris at 20 - tall, curly hair, beautiful smile - I had to hold myself back!! What an evening, great fun!
May 26, 200917 yr I just got surprised with this as I sat down on my computer My sister is an idiot. Lol. :shocked2: Hahaha that's hilarious .... not that much actually :\ Your sister is really really an idiot ! :P But mine would totally be able to do this ^^ DP.. but whatever. I love in this video when Chris says July, Will smiles cause he knows he messed up and Jonny realizes it too and they're just looking at each other. Guy is just too zoned out to be bothered by anything. :P And Chris looks exhausted, squirmy, and hot. Plus they all sit exactly the same and are rubbing their hands the same way. YouTube - Coldplay : Video message [NG and OK take] Haha yes i love Jonny/Will looks :D Chris is totally out of it but still really hot :wacky:
May 26, 200917 yr I am happy because my brother-in-law said " Viva la Vida is the only coldplayic song I like" but he asked me " Where can I download their free live album ?" I will become a coldplay fan !!!:D Chrissy is NOT a douchebag but it is so funny :laugh3: I Know Chris, it is hard to record a message ! :P And I saw again this video and it makes me rave !:laugh3: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_DIBiPcYvo]YouTube - Coldplay Sound Check Part 2[/ame] Chris begins to sing Lit2 but it is only LIT !
May 26, 200917 yr THANKS!!! EDIT: the weirdest thing keeps happening. so my mom's cat, as you probably already know is named violet, after "violet hill", and i have my viva jacket here for the show tonight. she will not go away from it. she sits on it. she sleeps on it. she plays with it. when i'm wearing it she follows me around. it's kinda creepy. :stunned::P!!!
May 26, 200917 yr ^^^ coldplay_is_louve, I think your cat wants to go to the concert with you. ;) teee :sigh: Well, I cracked. My haitus ended last night, 10.5 days early, at about 1 am. Back in med school I used to study in my sleep and then wake in a panic because I couldn't remember the three branches of the trigeminal nerve (or whatever). I couldn't fall back to sleep until I turned on the light, grabbed my book, and looked up the answer. Maybe it was because of the game I put together last night, but I awoke in a start after a couple hours of sleep last night because I couldn't remember the melody to Postcards From Far Away! I tried to play the last stanza of Life in Technicolor ii in my head to recall it but nothing worked. I tried to sleep but I was just tossing and turning. (talk about an obsessed fan with serious withdrawal...) So finally I reached over for my iPod, just to listen to the first few notes and then I was going to turn it RIGHT off. Well, I ended up listening to the entire thing. And then I listened to Strawberry Swing after that, and let me tell you... it was the sweetest forbidden fruit. :D I've never heard anything so good. So there we go. I officially admit to the forum that I am weak and have failed, but I'd challenge any one of you to make it as long as I did :p (3 and a half days :S)
May 26, 200917 yr So there we go. I officially admit to the forum that I am weak and have failed, but I'd challenge any one of you to make it as long as I did :p (3 and a half days :S)You did very well, three and a half days are looooong for a real Coldplay fan! :) I wouldn't do it now anyway, because I take my final exams over the next three weeks and without Coldplay and especially 'Don't Panic' I would totally fail. Yesterday I was downtown to look for some shirts I could probably convert into fan shirts. After being in about five shops I got in the one I thought I wouldn't find anything. I found some okay ones though and started trying them on. They didn't look that good on me and I was really in doubt of taking them but suddenly LiT ii came on and I danced around in the cabin and was the only one in the shop singing along to it. Well, I bought all the shirts I picked and I'm absolutely happy with them now. :smug:
May 26, 200917 yr I was on youtube and I wondered why Coldplay did not yet recorded these wonderful songs... May 26, 200917 yr I did that in Penny's dept. store, I was looking at rings, one for my pinky and I was trying 2 different ones, I couldn't decide, so I was gonna get both and just at that point I dropped one, and Speed Of Sound came on, and I bought the one I was holding. I never hear SOS on the music loop in stores at this was a sign:)

Anyway I admire you, 3 days and half without Coldplay is huuuge ! :stunned: I couldn't have done better ! What's your name btw ? It made me laugh the story of the trigeminal nerve, because I had exactly the same problem :stunned: We need to talk :P
May 26, 200917 yr in my CVP class we're making 10-15 minutes movies. my group is doing a horror movie and i've managed to convince the other people in my group to use Murder. :wacky: 69 days :wacky: we're going to the same concert!! what section are you in? (i have lawn seats. :() and your post count is 4200! that's awesome! So there we go. I officially admit to the forum that I am weak and have failed, but I'd challenge any one of you to make it as long as I did :p (3 and a half days :S) you made it much longer than i would have. I just got surprised with this as I sat down on my computer My sister is an idiot. Lol. if my sister had done that, i would have punched her.
May 26, 200917 yr Today I brought my new laptop to school, and people kept requesting that I play Coldplay songs for them on my laptop! 3 different people wanted to watch The Scientist video, and during math class my teacher requested The Scientist, Clocks, and then we all watched the videos from my concert on Thursday!  And we looked at my pictures too, it was a fun math class :nice: Oh and I was just talking to my mom about people who go to a lot of Coldplay concerts, and she said "there should be a name for you guys... hmmmm... like Coldplayers!" which was hilarious because she doesn't know about Coldplaying  So I was like "ooooh yeah, 'Coldplayers' sounds cool!" :laugh3:

I bet you were so proud to show them ! ;) But I still can't believe your teacher watches your videos in class !:stunned: Your mom is very smart :P

It made me laugh the story of the trigeminal nerve, because I had exactly the same problem :stunned: We need to talk :P It's Heidi, but even some of my real life friends call me Novah so I'll answer happily to either. ;) Did you go to med school too? I only did the one semester as part of my graduate program. I don't think I could have survived all four years. In fact I'm almost certain I wouldn't have! I scraped through that first semester by the skin of my teeth! Truly, it was so close point wise, even a couple more wrong on that final exam and... ugh, I shudder to think about it. :S
May 27, 200917 yr I burnt my arm today on a pot and hours later the pain is still apparent and the first thing I thought of when I could block the burn from my brain was that Chris is such a trooper to not have complained and actually gone on with the show so quickly.
May 27, 200917 yr When I was at their concert in Abu Dhabi, there was lightning in the back the whole time, and eventually directly above us, and I, being deathly afraid of thunderstorms, was freaking out. Had it been any other concert, I might have stayed home, but this was Coldplay, and there was no way in hell I was going to miss it. It turned out to be the most amazing concert ever, and I was quite proud of myself for getting over the lightning and standing for hours in the middle of a thunderstorm. The next day, there was another thunderstorm, and I wasn't nearly as scared! So in a way, Coldplay helped me sort of get over my fear of thunderstorms! :P
May 27, 200917 yr I was on the train yesterday listening to Lovers in Japan, I looked outside and saw a little yellow butterfly :D Also they played the live version of Glass of Water on Times Square on Saturday. That's pretty cool
May 27, 200917 yr OMG, a Danish tv programme (a weird dating program) just used a bit of the piano part of Amsterdam! :shocked2: Isn't that just unusual? (I mean it's not a mainstream song!) EDIT:WOW! Now again! The same show used the first few seconds of HIGH SPEED!! :shocked2:  The other day another Danish tv programme had a part about Copenhagen marathon and used the whole Life in Technicolor (not ii, just LIT) showing the runners and interviewing a lady running! The song fitted perfectly to the clip! I went insane when I heard it.
May 27, 200917 yr I just got in my friends car as 42 began to play:stunned: It was the radio and they said 42 was the new Coldplay's single  I thought it would be Strawberry Swing ...
May 27, 200917 yr Today while I was working out at my gym they played Viva La Vida on the tv screen. At the moment I was on the bike. When I heard it I started going faster haha.
May 27, 200917 yr My new co-worker doesn't like Coldplay. :( Sure, we were able to talk about Death Cab for Cutie and Snow Patrol, but still...she says she doesn't like Coldplay. And as a bit of news, the official website for Guitar Hero 5 just revealed that Coldplay will be in the game, though hasn't revealed which song. Either way, I'm definitely getting it. Heck, Coldplay (and Muse also) is the main reason I stick with Guitar Hero instead of Rock Band, regardless of any other pros or cons. :P
