  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Chris is ambidextrous, in fact. :D

Chris is ambidextrous, in fact. :D

Lucky. I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous!!

Then you just couldn't be ambidextrous mouahahaha

Today after choir I was walking out of school with a girl from my class and we were talking about music and concerts and I for suuuuure talked about Coldplay and asked her if she knew them and she just said 'Know them? Of course!', which made me kind of excited. She is not really a huge fan, but as I sang the first lines of Viva La Vida (which she for sure knew), she came in and we were giving a little ... yeah, 'concert' on the street, surounded by a lot of people, who were smiling and listening. (Kind of creepy for me :uhoh:)

We started talking about the lyrics and she said, instead of Revolutionairies wait for my head on a silver plait she always sang Revolutionairies make the world a better place. And then we started singing Viva La Vida again and replaced that line with Coldplay makes the world a better place. :nice:

So, note to myself: did have an embarrasing moment in public and converted someone into a Coldpaly fan today. Negativ + positive ... okay, that equals to neutral, I guess. :P

Today I was asleep on the couch with the TV on and woke up because The Blue Danube was playing in 2001: Space Odyssey. Time for Coldplay! I'm like a trained rat. :P

I am not a Coldplay fan for that long yet but when I get into something then I get into it really badly. :D So I startet to talk to my family and friends about how much I would love to see a concert of them and so ond and so on. I think I bothered them quite well with my whining. *lol*

Anyway - around two months ago I decided to order myself a ticket for the concert on 9/19/09 in London Wembley because I thought it would be nice to see their last from this tour. I was quite happy about it and I still am. ;)

Then - about one week later - my mother called me and told me that I should visit them the following weekend because they had a suprise for me. So I couriously went home and you can probably already think what the suprise was.

Yes, another coldplay ticket! 9/18/09 London Wembley!!! XD I nearly couldn't believe it - I was so happy that I really cried... not that it is very uncommon for me to cry (I am quite an emotional person :P).

But the story isn't over here because two days later my best friend called me that she has an early birthday present for me... I wasn't really sure what to say to that because I sort of had the suspicion that the present was. *lol* And so I got my third(!!!!) coldplay ticket that day!!! 08/27/09 LTU Arena Düsseldorf! XD

I am so damn happy you can't imagine it!!!

The only thing about this story which bothers me is that I now have to pay two different flights and two different hostels... well, Coldplay is worth it! :D

I really have awesome parents and friends! I am so happy!!! *lol* I never thought I would see them THREE times this year!!! I so have to take a lot of pictures of them (and of course I will share them with you :))!
