(for those outside the US that may not know it's the US Independence Day)

 

I just noticed my neighbors were shooting fireworks :rolleyes: my brother and his friends are possibly going to Carowinds which is like a 6 flags and gonna see some fireworks there...

here in our national day we use to eat a lot and fly comets and stuff like that

comets? :lol: 4th of july and new years are two of my favorite holidays when I actually do something but I'm feeling this year I'm not going to do anything

We just go to a relatives and light up crappy fireworks. Meh. I wanna do something different this year. I think 3 years ago we were in Oahu Hawaii on the 4th and I was with my cousin on the water (body) boarding and there were fireworks over the beach. :blush: We had a nice view because we were away from the crowds on the beach.

last 4th of july i was in NY... wasnt very interested on the party to be honest... :dozey:

we never do anything festive for brazils independence day... its just another holiday, that we use as an excuse to have a long weekend and get drunk :drunk:

I was thinking of topping my last years 4th(blew my toilet up with a bottle rocket) by putting a morter down my new toilet...that'll make my parents happy.

i just remember that i was sitting on a hill with my family (and maaaany other people) and then there was that big fireworks....

pretty nice actually but i'm not gonna do anything this year since i'm living in germany :nice:

I wish that here in Brazil we could do somethinkg like shooting fireworks and all this stuff....As Mari said, it's just another holiday that you do nothing...Wich is pretty sad...

And btw, I watched independence day on tv today... :P It should be passed tomorrow but the world cup changed the plans a little bit...

my sister's gonna be in New York for the 4th, so she gets to see the amazing fireworks :( no fair...

 

eh, i might go out and buy some fireworks and call a few people to hang out. nothing too big. the 4th of july just kinda sucks nowadays, there's nothing to do.

I don't think I eer do anything on the fourth. It's just not a big deal or anything

Our Independence day is this sunday (the 9th), but I'm not doing anything.
